Seas the Day in this luxury 3 bedroom/2 bath at Diamond Beach Resort.

From the 5th floor balcony, you’ll swoon over the panoramic ocean views. The spectacular sunrises are not to be missed. Listen to the soothing sounds of waves rolling in while watching pelicans and seagulls float by at eye level. There’s plenty of balcony seating to take in the view while sipping coffee or cocktails, plus a 4-seat table that’s perfect for snacking or dining.

With 10 ft. ceilings, the spacious, open-concept kitchen and living area is elegant yet welcoming. The fully-equipped kitchen, with marble counter-tops and stainless-steel Kitchen Aid appliances, has counter-top seating for three. With plenty of comfortable seating, a wall-mounted TV (with cable and Blu-ray DVD player), and a cozy electric fireplace, the living area is the place to be after a day at the beach.

You’ll sleep well during your stay at Seas The Day. The master bedroom has a king bed, two dressers, adjustable lighting, and a TV/disc player with a selection of family-friendly DVDs. The bathroom en-suite has double sinks and an over-sized shower for a relaxing rain shower experience. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed, wall-mounted TV and roomy closet. The hands-down kids’ favorite, Bedroom #3 has a trundle bed. All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans and luggage holders.

The second bath has a combination tub/shower with an extra-deep tub for a long, soothing soak. Located off the bathroom, guests appreciate the convenience of the Whirlpool duet full-size stack laundry.

Amenities:
Seas the Day guests are also able to enjoy the abundance of amenities offered at Diamond Beach. Float the 750 ft. rambling lazy river, zoom down the water slide, cool off in the 300 ft. cascading 3-tiered pool, or relax in the poolside cabanas while cooking dinner at the grilling pavilions. A sand volleyball court and tennis courts are also available. When you’re ready to put your toes in the sand, it’s an easy walk to two private beach access points.

Head indoors and the fun continues. A classically elegant, black/white-tiled heated indoor pool provides a cool way to enjoy Gulf views without the sun. No need to get in the car for food and beverages: check out Diamond Beach’s popular bar & lounge, or the sophisticated wine and dine room. The 30-seat Ocean Cinema is for all guests’ use but can also be reserved. Exercise buffs need not miss a workout, as the fitness center is well-equipped with machines and weights, plus a spectacular bonus view of the pool area and Gulf. Feeling indulgent? The Chocolate Spa is ready to provide the pampering you deserve, by appointment.


Jungle Kids Club offers safe, supervised fun entertainment—perfect for kids when they need a break from the sun. The younger crowd and the young at heart will love the game room with foosball, arcade games, shuffleboard, and more.

Great condo
Condo was great size, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Lazy river was fun. The pool was closed bc of the hurricane two weeks prior. Management co reached out to check on us & make sure everything was good. It was easy to communicate w them via text. They responded quickly when we needed assistance w the tv. Overall great stay.

The condo itself was very nice and the location was perfect. Only concern was that we could not enjoy the balcony, which was one of the main reasons that we selected that particular unit as there were many units available at the time of booking. The door to the balcony took brute strength to budge it even a little and once we got it open a little we could not close it back again. Talked with the property manager and we were told that someone would come fix it, unfortunately it never got fixed while we were there. Disappointing

My Least Favorite Trip to Diamond Beach
This was out 3rd time to stay at Diamond Beach and was our least pleasant experience.The bare mimimim is given to guests such as one small roll of paper towels, and one trash bag. We were a party of 7, the condo sleeps 8. We had to go to the store to purchase those items along with a few other necessities not provided. The bedding on the beds is extremely thin, along with the pillows. The sliding glass door to get to the balcony is VERY DIFFICULT to open. It takes the full strength of an adult to open and shut it, which is annoying when the kids want to go in and out. The WiFi never did work for us despite contacting the host 4 times. I never heard back at all. The bedroom TV randomly turned off on its own and when it came back on it would never connect again, so it was unwatchable. I didn’t bother reaching out to the host since they hadn’t responded to my previous requests about the WiFi. There was a storm that got the pool pretty dirty from falling limbs and leaves, and the condos closed the entire pool down for 24 hours to clean it. Since the pool was closed we decided to go to the beach, but the easy access gate to the beach was closed as well, so we had to walk a long trek along the seawall. The easy access to the beach and the great pool are the reasons we choose to stay at DB Condos, so that was a major disappointment. Better communication is key for this condo to be successful. Hopefully the feedback will help with implementing these simple changes.

Has potential, but not a luxury property
Had a number of issues with our stay, but many of them have been covered in previous reviews, indicating the owner simply does not care to correct them. - Hairs throughout the condo, especially on the bedding. The dryer beeping on arrival makes me thing maybe it was broken and they didn't both to wash the sheets/pillows - Email from management company said there was 2 parking spots reserved + visitor parking. Not true - no visitor parking, and they recommended parking at the liquor store or walmart. - No extra blankets - for a 3br condo, it's almost a certainty that people will have different expected climates, a few blankets would go a long way. - I think there were 4 forks? again - 3 br condo, we had to share. No pot holders either, and the knife I used was so dull it couldn't cut a strawberry (literally) - Not enough carts - had to haul our stuff down by hand - Wifi didn't work - asked for us to log in to xfinity - Mold in the shower caulking - for the nightly rate, this should have been fixed along time ago - Dirty ear plug on the floor - Master bedroom door is impossible to open silently, and sticks quite badly. Again, an easy fix. - Toilet was stuck upon arrival and would not flush - had to remove the top and jingle the chain - Drain gurgled loudly non-stop - Bird poop all over the balcony - No changing stations downstairs - Description says water slide - there isn't one. - Jungle club is just a play room - Pictures are not accurate(furniture esp)

We had a cousins reunion with 7 members but 2 were ill so, we were very comfortable with 5 Everything was very clean & our needs were met with the kitchen being well equipped The view from the 5th floor was amazing & the water amenities were a definite plus

Gorgeous views, beautiful property
Our family had a wonderful stay at Seas the Day! The views from the balcony are incredible. Convenient location (about 10 minute drive) to downtown restaurants and shopping. The outdoor pool is not heated (Texas) so it was chilly, but indoor pool is heated and steamy warm. Hot tubs outside and lazy river made the outdoor low 70s temps perfect for everyone. Inside was perfect with 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen/attached living room. Views from the glass wall facing the Gulf were phenomenal. You can see both sunrise and sunset without leaving Seas the Day. Secure parking and building entrance felt very safe.

A frustrating week in Paradise
The property was listed as a luxury condo on the Gulf front; the condo is in a fabulous facility with many amenities. However, there were several issues, including problems with one of the toilets, the air conditioning, the front door deadbolt and the WIFI. Numerous calls and texts to the property mgt did not result in solutions. The facility maintenance person repaired the door and lock the day before we left. It was a shame because the place itself was decent, but I can't say luxury.

Our stay was wonderful! The kitchen well stocked and the rooms accommodated our guest perfectly. We really enjoyed the views from the large balcony, and we had no problem using any of the amenities at the resort. We are certainly looking forward to returning in the future.

We had an amazing stay at a beautiful property. Close enough to the crazy, but not on top of it. Gorgeous swimming pools for our kids to splash around in. Only (minor) complaint was the friendliness of the check-in personnel at the front desk, and the slow communication with our host. But we would absolutely come back again!

Great Getaway
We came to celebrate our son's graduation from his BSN RN. It was a wonderful relaxing time. We come to Galveston periodically for getaways, but stay in houses on the beach. I think this is our favorite simply because of the property and what it had to offer. It didn't disappoint. I was told that there may not be units that hold up to 12, but I am hoping so. We want our entire family to come next time.

DIRTY DANCING
The condo is as advertised. Beautiful views. Comfortable furnishings. BUT, The dishes were filthy. The A/C was making noise because the air filter hadn’t been changed in years! One pan had dried eggs in it. The condo is not very well stocked with simple things. There was bird poop on everything on the balcony as well. The property manager on site helped me get everything cleaned up. But the management company maintaining brigs property gets a BIG F!!!!!!!!!!!!!’n

Great view but unfortunately the windows were dirty. Master bed linens need an upgrade and pots and pans need to be replaced. It’s a beautiful unit but it’s a premium for the view and floor so the patio furniture needs to be upgraded. Great resort with amazing amenities for the kids!

The location and amenities were great. The actual unit was not well equipped in the kitchen, no spatula, no non stick pans, pans were very old and scratched, The pull out couch did not offer blankets and pillows. The unit was very poorly cleaned. The patio area was in such bad shape it's not enjoyable.

Awesome place. Could have gotten more for ouroney if it hadn't of been cold and raining the whole trip but that's not the locations fault. For that reason I booked this place with the indoor pool. I do wish someone would have told me that you need to book the movie theater days in advance because just because we didn't know..we didn't get to use it. It was booked the entire time Then since it was raining and cold the pool and lazy river essentially went unused. We would like to come back hopefully at a less costly time and during the summer when we can use all the amenities provided but it was a great place! Oh side note this particular unit needs new pans and a spatula, but again. Great spot and would stay again for sure!

Great Location, needs work
Overall, this condo is beautiful. Fantastic views, great location and comfy for 6 people. During the summer season we are sure that this place would be much more enjoyable. However, while renting in January we found that due to low occupancy they complex was very understaffed and therefore very under serviced. The indoor pool was dirty (so much so that we didn’t want our kids swimming in it). They “cleaned” the pool on day two because of several resident complaints, but there were still clumps of hair floating around. The outdoor pools and hot tubs were out of service. The bars were closed. The game room was dirty and even the video games (although turned on) didn’t work. The unit itself was quite dirty and needed service. We found a bloody towel in one of the bathroom cabinets, crumbs on the table and floors, one bath and the kitchen faucet were both damaged (although they still worked), and the kitchen cookware and cooking utensils are in very poor condition (one pot even had non-stick surface peeling off). The property owner did respond quickly when we notified him of the lack of hot water, which was promptly fixed. However, I did share with him photos/explanation of most of issues and while I did tell him that we were not expecting any sort of credit/discount, it would’ve been nice to receive an apology and response.

I would stay there again.
This place is great and secure. I do wish that the beach part was in front instead of the seawall, but that my my mistake not realizing. I like to see the waves break. The room was okay but could have been cleaner. Also the dish washer is hard to press the button because of how the contertop in designed so be sure to press it well. We have to precast our dishes because they didn't seem properly cleaned.
