Was not totally happy with the place.
The view was excellent. The check-in was fine, and the stay was OK. However, there were some things that did not go as planned. The first being the fact that the listing had said, it would be Two covered parking places, and in fact, it was no parking places covered or not. The unit also needed so repairs there was problems in the bathrooms with mold and rust and soap scum on the wall. We had paid quite a bit extra because it was over the Christmas holiday, and I just expect a little more upscale care and repair and accurate listing than what I found that we had.

Second time!
This was our second time staying here and we always enjoy it. We were here a year ago and the only downfall is that there was some minor damage here and there that was not there last year and that shows that some people don’t respect the property while staying there. Other than that it’s still very nice and a great place to stay.

Beautiful views! Great amenities. Would have liked towels for two days/ two people in each bathroom and two key fobs for our party of two families. There were a few other minor inconsistencies, but overall a lovely stay.

Great Condo!
Cute Condo and fabulous view! Clean and well maintained. Dishes, however were put in the cabinet dirty. Glasses had lipstick and marks on the rims.

Cheer Competition Weekend Getaway!
We travel to Galveston frequently for our daughter's cheer competitions. The San Luis Condos have become our home away from home. We've stayed in multiple units over the years, but this one is one of our favs! In fact, we have this same property booked for another competition later this spring. I love the two room set up so the adults have their privacy and the kids have their own space. This property is beautifully decorated and clean. The property management company was easy to work with and accommodating!

Christmas in Galveston
All units in the San Luis look out over the Gulf. A full complement of restaurants are included and there's no need to leave. Especially, the Steakhouse is as good as anywhere in the country. Other Galveston options are close, so let the weather guide your decisions. Had some issues getting in as the instructions were a bit vague and the permanent staff chooses Not to assist guests registered through VRBO, etc., Problems got solved, We'll be back.

Great atmosphere!
Loved this place! Wonderful decor. Beautiful balcony views of the ocean. Great kitchen & living area. Comfortable beds. Great support from property manager. Only problem was our daughter left her bathroom door open when taking a shower & the steam set off the fire alarm! So be aware! We’ll be back! Thank you.

The BEST Property Manager EVER. Jake was responsive, polite and friendly. We LOVED him.
The property could not have been nicer. Very comfortable for 5 adults. Beautiful view. Clean, stocked nicely. I wanted to stay longer, maybe forever. Thank you Jake for making our stay so wonderful.

We loved our stay here. The condo was very clean, great decor and we loved the location. Only complaint I had was that the building entry instructions on the app were not thorough so we had to make phone calls on how to get in. Once that was figured out, we had a nice stay.

Accessible and attentive property manager
We stayed at this unit at the beautiful San Luis Resort from April 5-8th, 2019, and had a wonderful experience. Cannot say enough good things about the property manager, Jake, who went out of his way to make our stay as seamless as possible. The condo itself was gorgeous, and the views impeccable. The resort itself is gorgeous, and so convenient. The restaurants on-site were all delicious (a bit pricey, but that's to be expected at a resort). Loved having a Starbuck's on-site. The only reason I'm giving the stay 4 stars instead of 5 is because the resort swimming pool was so warm that it was actually more like an enormous hot tub than a refreshing pool (kids at the resort seemed to love it). To cool off you had to either trek across the busy street in front of the hotel to take a cooling dip in the Gulf of Mexico, or you had to shower off in one of the outdoor shower rinses on the resort. This is by o means a reflection of the condo or the property manager, but the pool is a big reason I chose this property, so it was quite a disappointment not to be able to utilize it to the extent that I'd expected. Who knows, maybe resort management cools it in the summer months? All in all, I would definitely stay here again.
