Peaceful!
Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing. The view is absolutely stunning, and the access to the river from the deck area is fun! Itās a bit steep in some areas headed down the path, so my mom feared going down to give it a try. Additionally, the bedroom upstairs is not ideal. Iām 27 and only 5 foot tall. It had a ladder to access that I could climb, however I hit my head on the way up on the ladder, and I felt that I only had a little space over my head in the bedroom. I came back down with no desire to go back up, and my mom opted to not try due to health issues (former stroke/fall risk). Though it seemed spacious side-to-side and peaceful overlooking the river, we opted to sleep on the pull out bed/couch which limits the cabins downstairs space severely. However, it still was very comfortable despite being a pullout bed. We made the most of the space, and ultimately enjoyed our stay though! Everything else felt clean, relaxing, etc. We even briefly passed the owner and his sweet pup as they headed out to the river as well!
