"Beautiful hotel and nicely decorated rooms. At check-in, reception staff called Victoria was not very welcome and did not seem keen on relocating us to another room (the one given to us was on a lower level and the lift was out of order). I was with a 1 year old child, pregnant and had heavy suitcases, however she insisted there's was nothing she could do to help, treated us poorly and did not seem to care. That was upsetting as we had visited this hotel once before and had also attended a...

"I wanted a good location for a 1 night stay with my dogs and this fit the bill 100%. The hotel communal area was good, the room was a little tired but linens / towels were immaculate. Had entertainment on, on the evening if you wanted a drink in the bar. Overall not bad "

"The staff at St George’s are very friendly and go out their way to provide an excellent service, nothing is too much trouble . Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice and served by friendly staff. My only slight niggle was the shower in our room I found it didn’t have sufficient force but I managed. Will definitely return."

"Lovely big old hotel in a great location. Great queensize bed. Bar and restaurant on site. Very good value for money. Lots of families with children as there's a swimming pool. Staff are very nice and helpful."

"We arrive a bit early, 1415 hours to be exact. When we went into the front desk area we were told that we were a bit early for check in. I didn’t mind that as I knew. We were early, but I did not feel welcomed. That being said, every other staff member we spoke to was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed speaking to the staff during breakfast and supper. "We stayed 1 night to break a long journey. The property was very easy to find. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff were all so helpful, friendly, and professional. We had dinner and breakfast there and those meals were absolutely fine. A very good stop over. I would use again."
