Great getaway!
House was in a great location! Sunset view from back patio was beautiful, pool access appreciated, and house was just as described. Upstairs did get a little warm so bring a fan if you like it cooler to sleep!

Friends meeting for a few days of fun. The house is cute and roomy. Good bedding, sheets etc... because that does matter. Yard had a few old cans blown out of the fire pit but other than that the place was clean and inviting.

Girls get away
We had the best time in Galena!! Shopping, touring historic homes, eating at great restaurants, and spending an evening at the owner’s club pool. We rented the Charming Home on the Hill. It was clean and had plenty of room for the four of us. I would suggest a box of tissues in the bathrooms and a cheap alarm clock in the bedrooms, but would definitely recommend to family and friends and would stay here again!!

Christmas stay
We stayed at Joyce’s property for two nights and had a great time! The house was fully stocked and we even utilized the fireplace which came with a full supply of wood. We were also able to utilize the indoor pool on the Eagle Ridge property. The location of the house is perfect if you want to visit downtown Galena or nearby Chestnut Mountain for skiing.

Lovely updated kitchen. Minutes from the Eagle Ridge Inn and the Owners’ club with indoor pool for the grandkids to swim. Owner very quick to respond to questions.

Time Away
Four beds were needed, four beds found. Comfort, room, amenities, location all worked for the four of us women. Close and far enough from Galena to enjoy our time away. The annual Halloween was Saturday night, knowing that ahead of time helped us make decisions for that day. It's crazy. Beautiful sunsets from home, quiet neighborhood, all worked for us.

Great getaway weekend!! The house was perfect! Lots of room, great views from the back deck, kitchen supplies including condiments etc were already there. Owner was great and communicated extremely well. Will return for sure!!

Galena was beautiful. The house islocated within minutes of Galena and approx 30-40 minutes from Dubuque. The owner responded quickly to any question that I had. It was a nice experience for my first Vrbo reservation!

Girls weekend!
This is house was perfect for ours girl’s weekend. This kitchen was beautiful! Plenty of towels. Loved having a washer and dryer available. Lots of seating. Comfortable beds. If I had to make a suggestion it would be to upgrade the patio furniture and make a fire pit area. Some more mirrors and blankets would also be nice. Overall we would stay here again!
