Cozy beautiful house with new modern design

Beautiful furnished home in a quiet neighborhood with a peaceful backyard. Located 15 minutes drive away from the university of Florida, 20 minutes drive from the springs (Blue,Poe,Ginnie, Rum island), 5 minutes walk to the Publix, Walgreens, restaurants, and park. This property does not include washer/dryer, or a dishwasher prices were reduced due to these insufficiency. Contact me if you have any questions please.

Gator game!
Great location to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Home was clean and met the needs of my husband and son who traveled for a Gator game. Hostess was very responsive.

A House of Functional Imperfections
My family and I have rented this house twice. Once in August when we dropped our daughter off for her freshman year, and again this weekend during Family Weekend at UF. Given that we rented this house twice, it is apparent that we were satisfied with it the first time. However, be aware that this is a house of two halves - to the right when you walk in the dining/living room/kitchen area and it is very nice. Really, just how it appears in the photos. The bedrooms and bathrooms are okay - livable. They are clean, and everything works okay, they just aren’t as nice as would be expected Also, I’d like to address some things brought up in the other reviews. - Toilet paper in the toilet: At one point there may have been signs that directed guests to not throw toilet paper in the toilet. This house was plenty spacious for my friend and I and a short driving distance to the University. It did have a little bit of an odor but we got used it. It was extremely clean. The host was extremely responsive.

Lots of Potential
We would agree with most of the reviews rated less than an '8'. The frustration for us is that the landlord refuses to improve any of the deficiencies noted in many of the reviews: signage about not flushing toilet paper in toilet, evidence of soiled sheets, lack of linen towels in kitchen, no broom or vacuum, clearly stating that normal amenities are not available(oven, washer/dryer, dishwasher). The landlord's argument is that the low rental price compared to other comparable properties justifies the above deficiencies. As former landlords ourselves we do not believe that her argument is justified. Just tell the truth and let the market decide. Finally, the location, the cleanliness of this property, the roominess, the ability of the landlord to respond to inquiries was excellent, but insufficient for us to rent this property a second time because the landlord is uninterested in constructive critcism,.

I normally would not do this. This house was not exactly what we thought. To start off let me say we are in this house for 6 days. I have three young boys and we had no way to wash our clothes. No access to the washer and dryer in the home. I thought that was a little strange considering that's part of the reason we go this route instead of a hotel. Secondly there are signs on the walls in the bathroom stating not to flush any toilet paper or feminine products. I get the feminine products part but I am not throwing toilet paper in a trash can anywhere. Then I go in the bedroom where my son is supposed to be sleeping and the mattress is a queen but the box spring in the frame are a king and didn't match up. The mattress in the other bedroom was the right size but look like it was about 20 years old and had stains all over it and didn't have a mattress cover on it or sheets that fit. I wouldn't even let my kids sleep on it. The AC in the house was not working the back part was probably 75° the whole time we were there and the front part of the house was probably 68°. Overall it was not a great stay. Next time I will look elsewhere.

Quiet & Comfortable essentials - great deal and location
Four adults and one pre-teen stayed. Quiet neighborhood with a park easily in walking distance. This was a great place to rest and wind down from the rest of our weeks activity. Ana was very quick with responses to questions. Common area is nicely updated with a large table and more than enough seating options to relax in down-time. Beds are comfortable and great water pressure in the showers. Can't beat it for the price.

It was not clearly stated on the listing that washer dryer dishwasher and oven are not included. It would have been nice to see that they specifically are not included. It was a shock to get that information the day of check-in. There were notes in the bathroom to say no toilet paper in the toilet that was a shock. And there were no extra bath trash bags to use. Bed linens and covers were dark old looking. I was uncomfortable getting in bed. The bed had two different size mattresses on it. The other bed was on the floor. I did not walk around without shoes on. It felt dirty to me. The refrigerator smelled horrible it looked clean but it smelled horrible. The water filter in the refrigerator needed changed. I could not find any knives in the kitchen. It would have been nice if the path from the driveway to the front door was mowed down for walking. The living room and kitchen area were updated very nice. They really should update the rest of the house before renting it. I was shocked to see that the bedrooms and bathrooms were not updated like the rest of the house.

Nice Home Getaway
We chose this beautiful home to stay in, not just for the price, but primarily for the beautiful Florida room filled with plants to enjoy our morning coffee, but also for the furnishings. Most of the other homes in the area had ikea-style furniture and being seniors, we like recliners and comfy chairs. We were so glad to have chosen a home to walk around in and not be boxed up in a hotel room. We did not do any cooking here, as we had planned to go out to eat for our stay. The owner, Ana, was prompt to respond to all our questions. We would recommend this property and hope to stay again if the need arises.

Do Not Book with This Property
On the day of check in, received email instructions for the property. If you prefer to flush your toilet paper down the toilet and not place it in a garage bag, dont stay here. Also instructed not to set the ac below 74. Stayed one night and left because the bed linens had what appeared to be bodily fluids on them when we turned down the covers. Took sheets off beds and mattresses were covered in yellow stains. Mattresses were on the floor and not on a frame. One bed was 3 mattresses of varying sizes stacked on top of each other. Only provided 4 towels/rags for a 16 day stay and were instructed to contact them when we need clean ones. No access to washer or dryer that were in pictures that were removed off listing and were instructed to not use the dishwasher. We were told there were plumbing issues and that plumbers are expensive and they dont want to deal with that. We asked for a refund due to the unsanitary conditions and the property not being as described, and the property manager refused despite us not staying there past 1 night. Run as fast and as far away from this property as you possibly can.
