Yes, there is traffic noise from I70 but if you're someone who can accept the "white noise" the cabin is perfect for all kinds of adventure, or none at all. You're minutes away from great hikes, beautiful vistas and many wonderful small towns full of history. Or you can veg on the deck and stare at the mountain. Maybe see some big horn sheep. "The weather was nice and cool, even though it was early summer. The cabin feels very private in the mountains. There is a convenience store and a Dollar General 15 min away, and towns with restaurants and other businesses 30 min away. The view is spectacular, and we fell asleep to the sound of the running water in the creek every night."

"We loved our stay at this mountain cabin. At an elevation above 10,000 feet, we were surrounded by fragrant pines and had a direct view of a snow-covered mountain top. At the start of June, there were still mounds of snow around the cabin. As you drive up to the cabin, keep your eyes peeled for deer crossing the road. We saw several. Loved it. The town of Idaho Springs nearby has several wonderful places to eat and take a stroll. The Mount Blue Sky scenic Byway is a must see. Check in was...

"My family of 6 stayed here. Plenty of room. We enjoyed the hot tub and movie night in the cinema room. Easy to use instructions. House was clean. Location was 5 minute drive to town. Great restaurants downtown and shops for shopping. The house is close to the street so we did notice the traffic noise, if you have the house windows open. The rapid creek next to the house is awesome, but it was loud, especially when using the hot tub on the deck. Overall great house. I would recommend this house!"
