"Our stay at the Fin & Tonic was terrific! The central location was very convenient with stores, ferries and fishing spots close by. The house was still in the process of being updated but was still comfortable, clean and the beds slept great. Stewart, the host/owner was also very complimentary and responded to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!"

"The stay was great. We did have a problem with the washer and someone came out and checked it. We also had problems with the 2 showers on the second floor. We’re not able to use them. Someone came to check them and said that they were going to contact a plumber which never showed. "

"The stay was overall pretty good. The only thing we found was there are only 2 washers and dryers for the entire campground. 1 washer was broken and there was no change machine to get quarters and the office was closed. Could also use a playground for the little ones as there isnt much for kids on the property other than the pool for summer. "

"The property was very clean and had nice amenities. It was our first time in the outer banks, and I loved being right on the beach. The house was spotless when we arrived and it was very dog friendly. It’s a little secluded from mini golf, shopping, and movie theaters when the weather is bad but that was the only drawback. "

"We went to OBX for Christmas week for a peaceful and romantic getaway. We wanted plenty of room and a well equipped kitchen. We were not disappointed. Everything we needed to make prime rib and steaks and so many other great things was provided for us. The house is beautiful and when you step into the main living area you feel like you are home. The house was immaculate, the furnishings are comfortable and stylish and there are cozy spots everywhere. This was one of the best trips we’ve ever...

"House is lovely. Walk to.the beach isn't hard, though does have a minor hill over the dunes but nothing that isnt expected for the area. Overall, a great place to stay."

"We were just here for a little weekend get-away before Christmas. The house is as advertised. It feels like staying at your friends well-loved beach house. The view is beautiful, you are close to everything and there is plenty of room for kids (and the dog) to relax. While it has almost everything, there wasn’t a microwave, which was a bit of a surprise. The sandspurs are abundant, so shows outdoors are a must. We would definitely stay here again. "

"First time using VRBO, heard horror stories from others regarding key pad to door not working to the location left dirty. This unit was perfect. You can’t come here though expecting it to be like staying in those huge 3 plus level houses. There is no washer and dryer. This was my family’s 14th year staying at the cabana’s, we typically utilize another rental agency but theirs were all booked for our week. "Exactly as listed, I’ve been coming to Avon yearly for decades, (anyone have a nice place for sale?) This property is right on 12 basically as soon as you get into town. Walking distance to the beach and Froggy Dogs. The pool table and arcade games on the first floor are a nice touch. Would recommend and stay again. "

"The house was beautiful. We had more than enough space and were very comfortable. The ocean was visible from the living room and we saw dolphins on several occasions. The kitchen had lots of utensils and pots and pans. The showers had great water pressure. The bedrooms were very comfortable and each had its own television for when everyone needed a little down time. This was a fantastic vacation."
