Beach Fun!
Great beach house on front row. Ideal spacious deck overlooking the ocean for lounging away the day while watching the dolphins jump in the waves. Several restaurants & bars within walking distance...close fishing either beachfront or on the Surfside jetty.

Beware of the Roaches
The owner of the property was already notified of all the issues listed in this review and given the opportunity to correct any problems. After emailing her and sending her pictures of the roaches (at her request), I have not heard back from her. First, the house was not cleaned when we arrived (we did get there 15 minutes early). It took 3 ladies the entire first hour of our stay to finish cleaning the house. While waiting for the cleaning to be done, we discovered the downstairs shower (which is used to get sand off from the beach) and the gas grill were not working. We notified the manager and she said she would come back with a propane tank that night and have a plumber come out. The next day the plumber showed up without warning and got a tank delivered. The grill still didn’t work with the new tank. We notified the manager and got a charcoal grill the next day. But these things were nothing compared to the roaches. They were the tiny ones associated with filth. It was gross and they were everywhere. I emailed the owner on our 2nd night to let her know about the problem. She admitted there had been an issue since April and requested pictures for the exterminator (which isn’t necessary). If it wasn’t for family coming down for the day, we would’ve left early. We were concerned the roaches would get in our bags, our food, and about the cleanliness of the dishes provided. We paid a pretty penny to stay with a bunch of disgusting roaches.

Great Location
On the Rocks was just as shown in the listing. It is a perfect location, just minutes from all you need. There is plenty of room and the property has a great kitchen set up and layout. I would recommend this property highly.

Absolute perfect house! We took four of our grandkids and enjoyed every moment. This home is beautiful and located on the Pedestrian beach. The inside was so pretty and functional. I loved the sunrise!

Was a great trip with my adult children. Everything was great - clean, great a/c, great location. Quiet at night, beautiful view in the morning. Had family staying at the other end of the beach and were jealous of this house. Only problem I had was not having a full size oven - other than that it was the perfect stay!!

Richters On The Rocks
This was our first trip to Surfside but definitely won’t be the last. We loved our week vacation on the beach. The view from our beach house was amazing!! I’m the chef in our family and being able to cook indoors and enjoy an ocean view all at the same time was AWESOME. The upstairs deck is fabulous! We fished, boogie boarded, went kayaking, played football on the beach and all of this was just a few steps from the house. At night we enjoyed listening to music and playing Monopoly. Our home away from home was clean, cozy and perfect for our crew of 8!

July Weekend Stay
The location of this property is just at the perfect spot. The house is beautiful and very comfy. We stayed for 3 nights and it was just the perfect amount of days. We definitely will be back to this house. I contacted the maid service twice and each time they answered our calls and answered the questions I had even at 9 o’clock at night. Totally Recommend!!!!

Couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The house is much more roomy than we expected it to be. The views are unbeatable and owners were great to deal with. Amazing property!!
Absolutely amazing experience! The owners were friendly and communicated directly with us. They have a local property host but they sent a welcoming email. The moment we walked in to soft music, fresh smells and the amazing view, I knew it was going to be a great weekend. They had everything we needed- it was very clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable! It is right on the ocean- a road is all that’s between you and the sand! Beautiful way start the day is to sip coffee in the morning on the deck, with a full table for breakfast outside, and enjoy the evening with the outside adjustable deck lights. Everything is controlled by Alexa so need to even go inside to change the brightness or color. They had nice linens, comfortable beds and the washer and dryer was a nice touch. No need to drag home those wet, sandy clothes. There is a propane grill downstairs and a couple swings by the bar- not really for kids- more of sitting at the bar type. There is also a open outdoor shower to rinse the sand off before heading upstairs. The beach is fairly clean and was busy but not crowded. Overall this is an amazing property and provided us a great experience! We will be back and definitely recommend it!!

Awesome
It was prefect! My family and I went for my moms 60th birthday and enjoyed ourselves. The house was clean and nice the owners were very nice and there when needed them and yeah! I would for sure rent this house again!!
