"It was a very lovely house with a lot of great amenities! The kids loved that there was a pool, hot tub, and a lake. The pool was a tad cold for the baby but the bigger kids had a lot of fun in it. The owners were very friendly and responded quickly whenever we reached out."

"A very nice little lake house located on Lake Egypt in Southern Illinois. Very peaceful setting. With a two bedroom lake house. House has a large enclosed porch and a large outdoor deck with a furor adjacent. Property has a small boat dock perfect for docking a small boat or launching kayaks or a canoe.. The house was clean and well maintained."

"We used the kayaks and paddle boards. We also enjoyed the fire pit and grill. The dock was a little “weedy” around it, but my kids didn’t seem to mind. The updates inside were nice. I’d suggest a curtain for the sliding door."

We did need to hang up a sheet in the master bedroom since there were a few of the blinds missing and the neighbors could just peer in. The grill has seen some better years. "Overall, this was a nice place to stay. The lake is very nice and we had access to a beach and a dock. The only thing that we felt was missing was a grill. There was a fire pit outside with a grate held up with bricks, which was what we were told we could use as a bbq grill, but I think we were expecting an actual grill. Still, overall everything was great."

"Check in was seamless, there was a very small issue with a toilet and someone was immediately available to come fix it! They are more than accommodating! We decided to stay an extra night, although our place was already booked, they kindly let us move next door for our extra night with no problem! Views are great, beds are comfortable and there is plenty to do and see"
