I can’t say enough great things about this lovely home! Everything was perfect. The location was great for walking to everything. Very quiet neighborhood. The house itself was very clean and had everything we needed! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home! We’ll definitely be back for another stay!

Anniversary getaway
We had so much fun visiting Fredericksburg with a few friends and the house was perfect for us. We can’t wait to go back and explore the town more. Communication was great and had no issues. It felt like home away from home.

Great location!
Perfect for a girls getaway - walkable to downtown, clean, comfortable. Master bedroom has a step down to the bathroom, so if accessibility is an issue just note that and anyone needs to remeber it in the middle of the night! Lovely spot.

Great Location
This property was very nice and in a good location, walkable to town. Unfortunately it did not have a grill (the owner said they are working on replacing it) and the hot tub thermostat had issues preventing us from enjoying it. Overall a very nice property though.

There were 4 of us and we have a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house! Was clean, inviting and very close to Main Street! The hot tub was amazing. Was a little too windy to use the firepit, but we did sit around it! Everything was perfect!

Perfect Stay!!!
This was the most amazing location and experience! Susan, the host was so responsive in timeliness of replies for booking, stay instructions and any questions I sent her about the stay. The house is perfect - Susan has thought of everything!!! The kitchen has everything you need, the decor is SO awesome, beds were comfortable, etc. As a group of women, she even has black wash clothes for removing makeup!! I’m telling you, she provides it all!! The location is wonderful - a couple blocks off main street so we walked several times to shop and eat. This is THE location for your group to stay in Fredericksburg!! We WILL stay here again!!!

This a lovely property both comfortable and well maintained! Because I feel the owners are interested in the upkeep I would suggest a little bright tape making the step down to the primary bathroom from the primary bedroom.

Great place to stay for Fredericksburg Christmas
Very comfortable for our group of four. The whole house and backyard decorated for Christmas when we arrived really set the mood. Enjoyed being able to walk to the downtown shops, restaurants, the Christmas market, the history museum, etc. Had coffee on the front patio and watched the sun rise. Hot tub and back patio nice for relaxing in the evening.

A Pre-Christmas Ritual
This marks our third year to enjoy a pre-holiday stay in Prost House. Susan is friendly, communicative, and responsive to any questions we may have. We love the easy accessibility to Marketplatz and the downtown shopping district. And the street is so quiet you'd have no idea how close you are to the action. All the halls have been decked for the holidays, making our stay even more enjoyable. Add to that the lovely furnishings, well-outfitted kitchen, the hot tub, and our daily trips to the wineries and you have a recipe for success!

Girls getaway
We wanted to have a nice getaway for a friend’s 50th birthday and the house exceeded our expectations! We had an amazing weekend with lots of fun and relaxation and we loved the convenience of the location being so close to Main Street. The host was quick to respond and the house was cozy and comfy.

Would stay here again! Updated and clean house was great. Literally two blocks from the park and Main Street. We left the car parked at the house and walked to Main Street several times a day. Awesome property!

Girls Weekend
The home was very clean and beautifully decorated for the fall season. It was only a couple of blocks from the heart of Main Street which made downtown shopping extremely convenient. The weather wasn't cooperative so we couldn't take advantage of the hot tub or the outside sitting area. We hope to visit again!

Delightful and soooo clean!
Five besties since high school get together annually and this location was perfect for us. We walked into town for dinner and it’s only two blocks. And then we did a Sunday of driving to wineries and then back into town for dinner that evening. The large hot tub was a great addition for our first night, and then the fire pit was a central spot for us to “wine” down on our second night! The mini market two blacks away was also a plus (nice selection of wine too!) Breakfast and coffee ( full coffe pot and a keurig) at the kitchen bar each morning. And the sofa! So cozy and comfy for all five of us for a late nite movie. I highly recommend this property❤️
