Featuring a prime location in the notable "golden blocks", the cottage is half a block from the historic downtown Main St! With shopping, dining, tasting rooms, the world famous Nimitz Museum, and town square all within walking distance, there isn't a better location in town! Amenities include a full kitchen, private hot tub with a brand new private sundeck and lounge area, king beds, private parking, free WiFi, and much more! This property also features all new updates and renovations, including designer furniture and finishes, and a brand new bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower.

The interior features a large sitting area with conversation seating and a flatscreen TV, a full kitchen with cooking basics provided, a primary bedroom with a king bed, laptop friendly workspace, and ensuite bath, all featuring the perfect balance of form and function. Outside, there's a private sun deck with a private hot tub and seating area, perfect for evening get-togethers or catching some rays. Additionally, 2 large Adirondack chairs grace the front porch, making it the ideal spot for a morning cup of coffee.

Behind the cottages is highly coveted private parking, exclusively for guest use! Guests can also walk right to the back door of the Elk Store Distillery, or Auslander's Biergarten! Both are local favorites, known for their exceptional beer and liquor selections. This unique feature of the property lends a true speakeasy element to your stay.

- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

​​​​​​Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Raccoons, ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible. This includes but is not limited to: ants, spiders, scorpions, beetles, mice, or flies.

The house was clean and tidy, the kitchen was missing short/tall drinking glasses, none found. Only one ice tray, needs more. The bathroom could use some towel racks to hang up wet towels. Close to Main Street but loud in the morning being so close to business. A very nice stay, we will be back😊

Great Location, Amenities just OK
The location is great, a block away from all the action. The hot tub picture is a little misleading only showing one direction, if it was taken from another angle the Alley next door would’ve been seen and not very private. They need to get the TV situation handled! 3 remotes for one TV? You need to be a Philadelphia Lawyer to figure it out, just get a smart TV and let everyone stream whatever they want to. I’m not the smartest guy but this stuff should be easier. Also, the soaps reminded me of communion wafers, too small! Get something a little more substantial. Everything else was great, bed comfy, pillows comfy, fan and AC worked great. I think the property is over valued, but, I get the location is great.

Anniversary Trip
The property is adorable and definitely as described. It is easy to walk to most places on Main St from this location. Our only complaint would be the early morning trash pickups for the restaurants that are behind the rental. This of course is not something that can be adjusted or controlled by the owners of the house and would not stop if us from staying here again. We had a great stay other than that.

Unbeatable Location!
The location of this property is unbeatable!! A quick 30 second walk to Main St, 20 min drive to all the wineries, and 20 min drive to Enchanted Rock! We enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing in the evenings after walking around all day. The hot tub wasn’t unbearably hot, which we appreciated! The back deck of Speakeasy 2 backed right up to our deck. On our last night there was a couple in their hot tub just on the other side of the fence which was a little awkward. One thing I wish this cottage had was more hooks - there was literally one hook for towels in the whole house. Not even a place to hang the hand towel. We were a little nervous about noise, since this house is surrounded by parking lot / driveway, but we slept with our sound machine and didn’t have issues at all. Bed was super comfy with plenty of pillows! We’re used to sleeping with a ceiling fan at home, so we were glad this house had one over the bed! We would stay here again when visiting Fredericksburg!

Wind down wine weekend
Amazing property and easy check in process... Super cute and very clean. Convenient location. We booked a wine tour with Absolute Charm -- that was definitely the perfect touch to our stay. Mike was a wonderful, friendly and a knowledgeable guide.

The best!
This house is truly excellent. It is only a short walk to Main Street and all the attractions. The mattress is very good as is the bath and shower. Very clean. Sitting on the front porch in the evening with a glass of wine was so relaxing. This place gets an Aplus.

We had a great stay in Fredricksburg, the location was perfect so close to everything. You could walk to restaurants and bars and the main street shops if you wanted. The rental was nice, clean the hot tub was a nice perk. The only problem was the bed is extremely hard, I'm talking laying on concrete hard. We made due, lol, but just be forewarned. Also it would be great if there were some curtains, even with the blinds closed it was really bright in the am. Overall the location definitely made it worth it.

Walking distance to just about everything
Overall it was pretty good, the fan in the bedroom was wobbling and only had it on low. Not necessarily bad if you don't use it. The jacuzzi in back was not as private as expected and their was a smell of trash or something dead. Overall we did like our stay.
