"Group of 5 adults stayed here. Plenty rooms with AC in most of them. Place was spacious. Hot tub was nice and all 5 fit in there. The water is essentially a pond or maybe classified as a marsh so it was too small to enjoy the boats (for us) but it made for a nice scenic setting. Host is very responsive and helpful. Would come back here for sure. "

"Very enjoyable stay. Home was in an area of smith falls that was easy walking distance to canal and downtown restaurants. Prompt response from owner. The home is a duplex. It was as pictured and very well equipped with everything we needed. The lack of a washroom on the main floor has been previously mentioned. While it had been renovated, the home was starting to show the wear and tear of renters. It would benefit from a coat of paint to refresh it. "

"We were pleasantly surprised that the property could comfortably fit 12 people—something most rentals struggle with. The beautiful view and private dock were absolutely perfect! The lake itself was stunning, huge, and so quiet that it felt like we had our own private space. "The cottage is small and more suitable for 2 adults, not 4. However cottage has everything you need during your stay. "Thank you Dwayne for sharing your lovely house. We all loved sitting out on the huge decks and enjoying the peace and quiet. Only issue the house is not handicap accessible. Otherwise loved it We traveled the area and the many locks, we could have spent all of our time there watching the process. My daughter-in-law even had a chance to turn the wheel to open the lock for the boats. "

"WE had a family vacation with 4 children 9-18 years and 6 adults. The place is as described, but one needs to read the description carefully - see next re water access. The access to the water is not easy as it is down a path through rocks and when you get to the water it is all green and slimy with a dock covered in goose poop.
