"We love to come to Holiday Valley to snow ski and this house is perfect not only for those that want to ski but those that like the town of Ellicotville! It’s a perfect location and accommodates larger groups! Owners are very communicative and quick to respond if you have questions."

"Nice place in a good location for us. We stayed over New Years Eve, and it was very cozy even though it was cold out. Big enough for family to stop by for the evening and spend some time. Quick drive to Letchworth to hike. Instant hot water heater is nice for showering. Electric blankets on the bed we loved also. "Eric’s home was wonderful and a perfect stay for our family . We were able to get to the slopes easily and walk into town! Eric was responsive and every in the home was cozy and as stated ! Would highly recommend ! Jill B."

"Overall, the house had a variety of amenities that were desirable and the location was close to the ski resort but there were a few issues with the house that we wanted to mention. First of all, it was not very clear that this was two separate buildings, and tromping back and forth across the icy driveway was a challenge. "It’s like being in a house and you can hear others when they are being loud especially on 2nd floor, near common area, but fun if you like to be social with other guests. We had a nice stay. Building is a bit older so has its rustic feel and signs of age in certain areas. Overall, based on location, convenience and price we would stay again. "

"Ellicotville Chalet was the perfect place for our family trip. The house was spacious and easily accommodated our party of 14. The location was perfect, only a very short drive to Holiday Valley Resort. The only reason I marked a 4 for cleanliness was because we had to wash the pans, cups and silverware before we used them because they had food on them or were dirty. The same with the stove. The floors were a little messy and the fireplace had ashes and the ash bucket was filled to the rim....

"Clean, warm, well appointed, with comfortable beds. Took a ski trip with friends and my teenage son, and we had plenty of space for the four of us. Tony and Jennifer were responsive to my questions before and during our stay, and included some recommendations on where to eat nearby. Highly recommend this space for a family ski weekends. "

"The location of this apartment is IDEAL!! Right in town and walkable to everything in town, including the Tops grocery store. The listing doesn't do it justice, as it was a little bigger than I expected - which was a bonus when I walked in. This is clearly a rental unit - the shower hook in the bathroom was falling off the wall, there wasn't any shower stuff (shampoo or soap), hardly any hand soap in the bathrooms, only a few bath towels (2x in each bathroom), and 1x roll of toilet paper. "It is definitely one of the nicer hotels I’ve stayed at, but for the cost, I would expect better. Food was meh and both food and drinks were expensive, we couldn’t figure out the thermostat and it was really cold. Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am. When you stay only one night, that doesn’t even give someone a full 24 hours. I know these are minor inconveniences, so overall it was a nice place to stay. Amenities were good, and it’s free to park. That is always a bonus. "
