"Pretty unique property in a calming remote area with rolling hills & wildlife. It looks to have some renovations taking place and could use more. Maybe the time of the year in the country or not knowing when the unit was occupied last…lots dead flies on the ground & many more in the bead rooms flying around?!?! However the value of the rental for number of people it can sleep is good vs the cost! The hosts were very responsive!"

"Impressed with extra touches ie greenery, throw pillows and covers, kitchen organization, deck lighting, etc."

"Great house for our family group of 12. The kitchens were well stocked for cooking, which we did a lot of. The house was very comfortably furnished. It was easy to gather as a large group in the family room or dining room, but also lots of space to be by one's self. The last morning of our stay, we all ended up in the front room just talking before we left."

"My long time friend and I decided to get away for a few days, it was at last minute idea. We decided to go to Fountain City/Winona area to be by the river and see that part of Wisconsin/Mn. Enjoyed our time to relax and shop. The Farmhouse apartment is very nice and is exactly as described. If you love old charm in a small town, you will enjoy your stay. "

"The house was perfect for our needs. We had plenty of space for our group. The house was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect and a block off of Highway 35. We will absolutely consider staying here again!"

"Great location! Cozy neat cabin! Thanks for snacks! Front porch light was burned out so dark to go in and out at night! Feel like you might have fleas in yard or cabin! Felt well furnished! Great to have WIFI and Rocu TV. "

"Absolutely loved this cabin stay for our family! Clean, quick drive to whitewater state park for day adventures, and so nice to come back and enjoy the time at the cabin. Bathrooms were great and clean! Nice to have running warm water for our toddler along for the trip. Will definitely be considering booking again! :)"

"The Tempur-Pedic mattress was awesome. Two sunrises were beautiful. We didn't spend a lot of time in the house, but everything worked out well for our family and our dog. We appreciate the property being pet friendly."

"The place was wonderful! Pool was very clean and nice! The reason I gave only 4 stars on cleanliness is that the cleaners need to move the furniture and sweep- we cleaned up stuff that wasn’t ours. We would definitely stay again and tell others about this place! The views are so beautiful!!! Thank you so much!!"

"Kelli had the home decorated for Christmas both inside and out! The home was immaculate, the hot tub was wonderful and sitting around the fire place with dear friends enjoying a glass of wine was exactly what we needed. We will definitely encourage others to stay here!!"

"Uniquely different property. Appears to be a Nice set up for hunters/fishermen. A little deceiving listing as it is not on the water. You can see the River and a short walk across the road to the dock but not on the River. It is in a residential area. "

"If I could give a million stars, I would! We went so the husbands could hunt, and the wives enjoy a cozy house with the little ones. It was just what we needed for a sweet getaway! The beds were very comfortable, along with pillows! House was stocked with anything you could think of. The house was even decorated for Christmas, which we loved getting to celebrate the holidays with friends and family! Everyone in town was so generous and kind.
