"We loved everything about this home and the surrounding property. As others have mentioned - it's a good 30 minutes to any neighboring towns, so we made sure plan our meals ahead and brought groceries with us. The house is lovely, spacious and was perfect for our 3 generations and two dogs. It was exactly as described and we enjoyed seeing the deer cross the lawn, beautiful sunrises across the basin and the comfortable indoor/outdoor seating options! We hope to be back again some time!"

"This place is set up perfectly for relaxing. The screened in porch overlooking the lake was beautiful. The dock and sandy sore line was great for fishing and swimming. Inside, the home was warm and cozy. It had everything you could use in the kitchen. Super clean and well taken care of. The only downside is getting from the house to the back yard required walking back out main entrance, around the side of the house and down an uneven yard. "Cabin 5 is the one to choose. It is more private than the others. The privacy fence is a gift, and the back/hot tub view is picturesque. The AC was helpful on the sticky, hot, and humid days and even when it rained. Some of the amenities weren't as described. The lake is not a great kid swimming lake. "When they advertise as secluded, they really mean it! A mile off the road, this property is both gorgeous and refreshing! Well maintained, clean, and within driving distance of some amazing things! Ecco Hill is worth the backroad drive to kayak or fish. Iron Mountain and Crystal Falls are nearby if you need to see other people again. Bring lots of bug spray if you are staying in the summer and your hiking boots! We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay here again!"

"I could tell right away it used to be a Country Inn. Very colorful on the outside. Driving up to it is a little weird but not terribly difficult. I had to come down to get my key cards rekeyed after checking in. I don't remember seeing them get keyed when I checked in, front desk to make sure not to them next to anything wireless like cell phone and vehicle key fobs. I've never seen these items erase cards before so I think that was bull crap."
