Not as expected
The view was spectacular, the inside not so much. In the master bedroom one window was slightly opened and I couldn’t close it and the others wouldn’t lock. The master shower, I couldn’t get it to work. The toilet tissue and paper towels were very low quality. Where the lock hinge is on the door was broke. Absolutely no air in the elevator. There wasn’t any condiments nor plastic wrap. The internet did not work properly

Needs a facelift
The location was great. The condo itself needs a lot of “facial” repairs, ie. Gouges in the wall, rotten woodwork, needs painting-especially the woodwork. Kitchen was very well supplied with everything you need. Couch had two broken springs and beds felt like we were sleeping in a hole. Despite all that we still enjoyed our stay. We had a few issues but they were quickly handled by management/owners.

Great View
Enjoyed the great gulf view and the location of Okaloosa Island. The included chair and umbrella service was a special bonus. Some of the furnishings are showing some age and where and tear, but overall, a very comfortable stay.

$1000000 dollar view
This property is exactly as described. If you a no fuss, unbelievable view on a quiet beach this is it. If you wanting to be in center of action or looking for luxury this is not it. Its dated as described. But the view, the cleanliness and beach is second to none. One heads up, there is no bathroom door in the master. Its odd but doable.

Perfect Mother's Day Vacation
This condo was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our annual Mother's Day Beach Vacation. It's been a tradition since I was 10 years old and now I get to share these experiences and make more memories with my son. When my son and I walked into the condo, the beach and gulf view could be seen immediately from the front door. Absolutely gorgeous!!! The condo had a nice open concept from the entry through the kitchen, dining area and living room. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious and the master bedroom had the most breath taking view of the gulf. And the nights sitting on the balcony, watching the moon glisten on the gulf and listening to the waves breaking on the shore was so serene. It may not matter much to whomever reads this, but I wanted to mention that the dishware in this condo were the exact same ones as the ones I had growing up. The purple, blue and green floral dishware took me back, way back. My mom had picked them because they had all of our favorite colors. Hers was purple, mine blue and my brothers green. My mom passed away in 2020, losing her battle with cancer. When my son opened the cabinet to get a plate for dinner the first night, he gave it to me and I started happy crying, remembering my childhood, my mom. This was by far the best beach house I've rented and the best vacation my son and I had. The almost immediate access to the beach was perfect. And just a short 15 min drive to Destin Harbor for fun and adventure. I am very happy that we got the chance to stay in this condo. Thank you to the rental owenrs/ managers for a wonderful place to stay, while we made more memories.

Best condo we have ever stayed in!!!
We loved our stay at Emerald Towers West condo 4001! The rooms were perfect for the four of us. We really enjoyed the view from the balcony. The condo had plenty of space, was very clean and the kitchen had all the utensils we needed and more. The TVs in every room was nice. My only complaint is the elevator was slow. We will try to return to this condo next year!

Nice but not Perfect
This condo is located in a great location within Ft. Walton Beach. Crowds were very limited and beach was not over crowded like many close by. When we arrived and began to look around the condo everything looked nice. As I was admiring the view from the balcony I saw nail clippings laying on the floor of the balcony. This made it quite obvious that the balcony had not been swept since the last people left. The handle to the sliding glass door was broken making difficult to open and close. There are many spots in the ceiling where leaks have occurred and the "popcorn" ceiling has not been fixed. The sink in the master bath constantly drips and the shower drains very slowly. The dishwasher needs to be replaced because it is very old and the top self falls down when pulled out. Saying all that would make one think it was a miserable week but it was not. Other than the things listed above the condo was clean and manageable. But if you are looking for perfection this is not the place for you.
