About 45 minutes to the Thorton gap entrance of Shenandoah and the cabin is about 30 minutes down the river itself. "We had a wonderful stay at Deer Haven. The house was clean and very comfortable. The views were amazing, and the hot tub was perfect after long days of hiking. "We have stayed in the Great Escape multiple times. It is always clean, comfortable, inviting, and well stocked. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walk to the National Forest. Our dogs have a wonderful time playing and exploring in the large, securely fenced back yard. Communication with the host is great, they are very helpful and responsive. I travel to the area to visit and do family research fairly often. The Great Escape is always my first choice for lodging."

We drove around Shenandoah’s Sky Line Dr and came back to amazing weather and spent a few hours in the hot tub. Jantamos no restaurante do hotel, e achamos caro pelo q foi oferecido. Entao pela experiencia foi positivo, porem nao voltaremos novamente para hospedagem. É limpinho e a senhora q atende no balcao é uma fofa. A cama era de mola e fazia barulho alto quando nos mexiamos. Enfim se tivessemos nos hospedado em Luray teria...
