"The cabin was cute. Nicely decorated. The large deck was a very relaxing hang out spot. The cabin could have used a little extra tender loving care as far as the cleaning goes. The kitchen wasn’t stock very well. If you plan on cooking make sure to take more cooking essentials such as pots and pans, sheet pans, mixing bowls, baking dishes, dish towels, paper towels, plastic wrap, foil etc…The grill was left very dirty and had a broken gas tank, so we didn’t get use it. "We enjoyed our stay here, the house was very comfortable and well-appointed. We loved the fireplace, the lights on the deck, and were happy it was stocked with games -- we had fun asking each other Trivia questions. We also got to see a deer wander onto the lower part of the property. Would definitely recommend & would stay there again."

"This place is lovely. It feels very rustic and tucked away, but it is so close to so many things! Everything about the place itself was so intentional. We loved the record player, the gas fireplace, the fan/space heater in the bedroom! We had a small issue upon arrival, and the host was so responsive and accommodating - it just made us enjoy the stay more!! "We stayed here while in town for a wedding. We had 13 adults and one child. This is such a neat old house with so many cool features. We had a fun time exploring the house and admiring the unique features like the Jefferson doors to the porches, the old coal dump, and all the super cool antiques in the home.
