Endless Summer Rental 3 Bedroom 2 Bath - Entire Apartment

This is a modern spacious apartment in a gated community of all vacation rentals year round. We are in the heart of Fort Lauderdale next to i-95 highway. We are in a dense urban neighborhood next to a high-school on a dead end street. This provides unparalleled privacy and quietness with no drive through traffic. We are less than 15 minutes to FLL airport; Port Everglades; and Las Olas Beach. We are less than 25 minutes from Sawgrass Mall; Dania Mall; Aventura Mall; Hard Rock Casino and Hotel; and Miami Dolphins Stadium. We are 35 minutes from Miami Airport and Miami Beach. We are a 12 minute walk to the nearest park with tennis, playground, and basketball, next to intercoastal waterway bridge, with Cafe, Pizza Shop, and Convenience store all located right across the street.

    BEWARE!! We were not able to stay. Booked and paid for property in May 2024. Did not get information to check in. Tried to email x 2, no response. Called owner. Needless to say he was very rude. Gave my name, said I didn’t have a reservation. Told him I booked through Expedia, said we pay him directly! Says he only uses Expedia as advertising. Trying to get my money back!!!

    Let me start with I have rented a lot of VRBOs there are always good things and possible problems. When information is not clear and customer service is bad it is the most common thing that will cause someone to right a bad review. The property is poorly marked it was difficult to find the appropriate door. We could not find the information necessary to obtain entrance into the gate. When I called for assistance the man told me it was in my paperwork work. He was rude, talked to us as if we were stupid and then gave us the gate number. All of this could have been a pleasant experience he simple could have said it can be difficult to find these numbers as it’s a two page document however I will assist you. Nope he had to be condescending. Then we could not find unit 4 on any paperwork as well as it was not marked on the building. We then struggled with getting the door to open. Having the big lock on our door knob made it difficult to open as you couldn’t get a grip on it and had to be able to pull the door. I think the battery needs to be changed as well. That all being said… the beds were comfortable, the inside of the property was clean. Few dishes were available for a unit of this size. The counter tops are too heavy for the cabinets so the top is broken down. I should have read the reviews as the main complaint has been the rude customer service!

    Upon arrival we were told that they were still preparing the room. We left and came back and a whole another family was in the room. We were then told that there was an email sent in reference to the change in the very back of the building which was very nasty and uncapped as you walked up the stairs. The floor inside of the apartment had to be cleaned and everything had to be wiped out because there was this strange thing of urine inside.

    The air conditioner turned on but it wasnt actually cooling anything off. No one slept well due to being hot. Asked the contact two questions because the code didnt work to get the key. Very rudely told me he wasnt go to provide instructions. The door was not locked so we didnt need the key anyway. While booking i simply inquired about the cleaning fee since we get there late and leave early. Another rude reply about i shouldnt have booked it. I was just asking and I felt he wasn't at all friendly or customer service driven. Overall, it was a clean 3 bedroom in Fort Lauderdale and was cheap. Get what ya pay for. Not aweful but not pleasant. Had the contacts replies to me been a bit nicer could have made this stay nicer

    The neighborhood and building is run down. I would not recommend this rental. There is concern that the area is a high crime location. I may not use VBRO in the future since no commentary on location. The rental unit itself was very clean and acceptable.

    Great place for a short stay!
    We just overnighter with 5 adult members of my family. The only issue was that the directions for opening the door were incorrect. Patrick was quick to respond to a phone call to give us the correct code to the door. It looks like the coded doorknob is brand new, and that was the source of the problem. Other than that, we were thrilled with the property and would consider it if we pass through again!

    I wish I could give a review of the property itself but unfortunately, I cannot. The night before our scheduled stay, there was record flooding in the area. I asked the host prior to the stay about conditions in the area and his response was, it's a second floor unit, you'll be fine. When we arrived, there was a foot of rain water covering the entire street leading to the unit and it was still raining. We couldn't even get to the unit. I contacted him again to let him know the conditions of the area and that we couldn't get to the unit for our stay. Again, I was dismissed and he "wished me luck". While we scrambled to find a place to stay for the next two nights, he took my money. I asked for a refund of 50% and he was in no way going to entertain that request. I know it's not his fault the flooding happened but it isn't mine either. I was led to believe the area was fine and the conditions were safe. He never checked the space when I asked about the conditions or he would have seen the flooding. Or he did check the space and neglected to tell us so he could make a quick dime. If you reserve this space, just hope there's no rain and no hiccups or the host will be completely uncooperative and unwilling to work with you.

    The property was nice, looked like the pictures. An issue with the website and it’s messaging resulted in a delay checking in. Overall a very nice place. I would rent it again.

    We were paid and ready to fly to stay here and right before we left, he canceled on us leaving us no where to stay! We had to scramble to find somewhere and had to pay a lot more than we would have if given time to search. I would NOT recommend doing business with him!

    Very good stay at Endless summer rental and Bedroom
    Our stay at Endless Summer rental and Bedroom was good.. The living room was large enough to accommodate all of us. We were very happy with the place. It was very peaceful and restaurants were nearby. We did a good amount of work. We would rent the apartment if we have to meet again in Fort Lauderdale. Our only and major problem was with some cats who made a lot of messes outside of the apartment on the patios, lawns, etc... Something needs to be done to resolve that issue. Overall, The apartment looks similar to what was advertised. That was very honest. We rank the apartment with four stars. .

    Property is good and well maintained, but the property manager's communication is not good. He gave details of the wrong property and while trying to access that property we scared the people inside. He sent 4 very very long messages with all the rules, but didn't bother to verify the property details to make sure everything is right. Even the checkout times he assumed and the one's mentioned in the listing doesn't match. Never had such a worst experience with a host. Very inefficient and careless management.
