Disappointed stay, but it is what it is.
When we arrived at the location, I was truly excited. Close to the beach, premises look clean and secured, things where looking good. The red flags started when i went to step out of the car, it was too close to a tree that needs trimming. I overlooked that.. Then when you proceed to enter our unit, the door was hard to open. Inside i was met with a weird smell that even the kids noticed. A smell like if the unit was recently cleaned with an mop that was sitting in dirty water for a while. You can smell cleaning supplies mixed with still/old/used rags... okay.. i overlooked that too. Place was cozy, AC was cold and there was a nice ambiance. The nose got used to the smell when inside long enough but was reminded of it every time you came back. The upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom to whom there's not a lock on the room side from the bathroom. If you have kids, they will come into the room when you LEAST expect the to.. lol. So far, 4 out of 5 stars right.Our last night, we where invaded by a swarm of flying termites, upstairs rooms and bathroom. They were everywhere to the point we would not sleep, at all! Management could only communicate that there was bug spray there, and apologized. In the morning prior to check out, we had to go through all belongings to ensure we did not bring bugs back with us. Multiple stops on the drive back due to lack of rest. Management was SO GRACIOUS to comp back a mere 10%... I will not stay here ever again!
