As a Premier Host property in the Historical Sailboat Bend, we offer a location that's within 5 to 10 minutes of everything—beaches, shopping, entertainment. Whether you prefer walking, cycling, taking a water taxi, or driving, you'll find our location incredibly convenient.

Our property is nestled in the Historical Sailboat Bend of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a neighborhood known for its safety and family-friendly atmosphere. With multiple parks and dog parks within walking distance, you'll feel secure and at home. Las Olas, a hub for eating, shopping, and entertainment, is just a 5-minute drive away! The beach and the Fort Lauderdale Airport are also easily accessible, just a 10-minute drive away.

This is an excellent property for dog owners! It is on a half-acre of land and completely enclosed, with multiple dog parks within walking distance.
Due to the allergies of other guests, we only allow hypoallergenic pets.

**We want everyone to enjoy their stay but due to highly restricted rules within the city of Fort Lauderdale Vacation Rental Office, no parties are allowed. The maximum amount of guests allowed in the property is four. The maximum amount of cars is two.**

Fun little cottage in a great neighborhood!
We loved this cottage for its location and privacy. It's got a great fenced in yard with parking for 2 behind a gate. The house is small and a little quirky, but awesome for a quick stay in Fort Lauderdale. The landlord is absolutely the best!! Great communication! Our flight was delayed and we arrived very late, but this was no problem. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay
I needed a place for my parents for 3 nights. Oliver was gracious and offered a last minute discount and was extremely accommodating towards my parents. My parents loved the property, as they expressed that they felt safe and the property was very clean and comfortable for them!

Mold smell made us sick.
Oliver was great..that is until we had a problem. When we arrived we both were overwhelmed with the fragrance smell, my husband got an instant headache and felt like throwing up. Oliver said we could remove the fragrance. We did. It took a couple days to dissipate. I noticed a mold/ mildew smell becoming stronger and stronger. Which was making me sick. I had a constant headache which would get better when I left during the days. On the 4th night I woke from my sleep feeling like my head was pounding, I couldn’t take it anymore. I slept in my car the rest of that night. The windows didn’t have screens so no way to get fresh air. We also noticed our food was all warm. The fridge was not working. Our food spoiled. We had purchased 150.00 in groceries for the week. We decided we couldn’t stay any longer. I didn’t want to feel sick my whole vacation. We called Oliver. He was very combative. He kept saying I was accusing him of covering mold. That is for him to deal with. All we wanted was to pay for what we had stayed and move on. He offered to pay for our milk. Nothing else he refused to refund us. He said there was no smell, his friend himself and his cleaning lady said so…I assure you. If you have a sense of smell you will be overwhelmed by the fresheners and the musty mold smell. We had our 3 dogs with, we absolutely loved the yard space for our dogs. We DID NOT want to stay in a hotel. Which is what we did. This ruined most of our trip.

Cozy Cottage In A Great Ft Lauderdale Neighborhood
We really enjoyed our stay at this Vrbo property. It is close to the Riverwalk area of Ft Lauderdale and Sailboat Bend is a historic and interesting area to walk around. The host was friendly and made some outstanding restaurant recommendations.

NYE weekend
Great location for our purposes. Walked all over to restaurants shopping misc venue. The owner was very communicative and helpful. The house did not have many items available as I’m used to for a VRBO but it had all the basics and was clean and cozy. Oliver was great and thanks for the blow dryer!

Highly recommend ! Awesome accommodations !
Oliver was such a great host, the property is also in an amazing location. I was staying in the property by myself and felt extremely safe. I loved my morning and evening walks in the neighborhood. Being so close to Las Olas was also another plus. I'll definitely be staying here again soon!

Riverwalk cottage
The location of this cottage was perfect for anyone who enjoys walking. The scenic Riverwalk is very close & I used it every day. Also a great place for dog owners. Big yard & parks literally across the street. The area is very dog friendly. The cottage was as described with nice clean floors! Host was very friendly & communicative. If we return to this area we would stay here again.

The property is a large, enclosed lot with tons of trees that make you feel the lushness of the flora. It is located across the street from a nice sized public area on a branch of the New River.

Beautiful cottage and a great host!
I desperately needed a place to stay with my dog due to my building having to do maintenance in my apartment. I am so happy I came across this rental. The cottage was so cozy and quaint! The owner (Oliver) was so nice and accommodating. The yard is spectacular, especially if you have a dog. My dog had so much room to run around and play on. The location is in a fantastic area, and I was only a few minutes away from Las Olas. Many parks to walk to in the area, are great neighborhoods to walk around as well. I will recommend it to friends!

the property is very large with lush greenery surrounding the cottage. we really like the area and this is our second time in Sailboat Bend, we will most likely visit the same area if we return to Ft. Lauderdale. Oliver is very welcoming and very easy to communicate with.

Had the best time at this charming cottage!
My husband, two kids and two dogs stayed at this charming cottage for over a month and love every minute of it! The front yard is great for the fur babies, fenced in parking, and you can walk to the river walk which we did most every day! Oliver and his dad were so lovely great communicators and let us in on the local spots. I highly recommend this quaint little cottage.

Tropical paradise, absolutely beautiful very private property in great location close to everything
The owner Oliver was such a gentleman and helpful you were in a great location we were able to take the water taxi to the ocean and there were many restaurants and entertainment within five minutes at the same time our property was very private and very clean I give this property five star rating overall, we will definitely return in December. Cottage at Sailboat Bend
The property was cute and quaint. There is a large lawn when you first enter the property in front of the cottage. The cottage has a lot of charm, character, and is surrounded by lush plant life. A gorgeous 120 year old tree lives right next to the cottage's deck. Oliver and his father were both friendly, personable, and attentive to questions and recommendations. Checking in and out was easy and hassle free. We had a great stay!
