"Really good overall , friendly staff, good size car park, food - good but could be better. Room compact but with all necessary facilities. "

"Free parking, so big that local vintage car club used it as meeting point. Enjoyed the duck for dinner and cooked breakfast in the morning. Room was bigger than expected, clean and quiet. Some parts looked like they needed redecorating but it is an old coaching inn. Only ten minutes from Dyrham Park."

"Enjoyed our stay, lovely old building, full of character, easy access to main streets, room was bright and clean, large bed and great en suite and hot shower. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. Will stay again at some point. "

"Really nicely furnished and decorated room and bathroom with a lovely comfy bed. A vast bath and shower, a separate seating area for two and a nice hospitality tray. It would have been a great room to catch up on some work if I had needed to. It was also really quiet; I had been a bit worried about this as I have stayed in some pubs where the noise in the room has affected sleep. Some of the furnishings were a little tired.
