"Beautiful little cottage. Me and my husband took our dog away for a few days in January '25 and this was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was warm and spacious with a view of the garden. The kitchen had everything that you could need and the fire was great to settle down infront of after a long day exploring This was a good base for exploring Northumberland."

"La maison est très grande,bien organisée.Chacun avait son propre domaine.Les chambres sont agréables.Le matelas au salon est cependant bien mou.Le barbecue a servi dans le joli patio.On est à 10mn à pied du centre de Kelso,jolie petie ville aux très nombreux commerces accueillants,bien située dans les Borders et entourée d'abbayes superbes ,surtout celle de Dreyburg ,et de beaux paysages.On envisage déjà de revenir.Merci Nikky."

"The owner kept in touch giving accurate and detailed instructions on entering and had even put the heating on for us so that it was warm for my epderly mother. In brief. "The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. It would be nice to have a few basic essentials such as salt and pepper and hand soap upon arrival to get things...

"A great hotel, staff were all lovely, had a dog friendly room which was clean and smart. Hotel caters for doggy people but also has separate areas if anyone doesn't like dogs. Essy to park, a short walk from the village centre. Breakfast was delicious and happy hour 2-4-1 cocktails were a bonus. "
