"A short getaway to relax and enjoy nature with friends. Loved walking through the trees behind the house. The spa was nice even though it was cold outside, and the overhead cover was good because of the rain. One bummer was the fireplace is not part of the deal anymore. Even though it's not a real fireplace, it would have been nice for the ambiance and cold days. Property manager responded promptly to our messages."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. The lake access was truly amazing and added so much to our experience. Our family spent a couple of days here before a funeral, and it was really nice to have that quality time together in such a beautiful and serene setting. The property was comfortable, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. Thank you for providing a great place for our family to gather and create lasting memories. "My husband and I and our three youngest children (15,12 and 8) stayed here for a week while visiting family in the area. It was very nice and had plenty of room for the kids to play. The park is just a minute away and we had fun there as well. We would stay there again."

We were under the impression it was a private retreat and had our stuff out when a huge group showed up to use the boat launch. "Fun place to stay and comfortable. The listing needs to be more specific about beds and placement. It was not quite accurate. It says there are 2 queen beds plus 1 loft bed in the main house, which I was planning on, but there is only 1 queen bed and the loft bed. Otherwise, it was a nice place and I would probably go back again. Loon Lake is a very nice lake!"

"Nice older building, one thing to keep in mind there isn't any internet, phone service or TV. For us it was okay we utilize the blue ray for my grandson. For our needs the worked out fine since most of everything we had to do was in Newport for our daughters wedding. Pastor Ted is a very nice accommodating man."

"Everything about the house is even better than the description and pictures show. The house and location are beautiful! There was plenty of room for our 14 adults and 3 children. Each room was decorated beautifully and the top floor, kitchen family rooms open concept was perfect. We did some fishing and our granddaughter caught a huge carp! We loved that there was a store close by for quick runs if needed. The weather didn't cooperate, but it didn't stop us. We couldn't have been happier!"
