"My wife and I made our 1st trip to the Smoky Mtns. but we wanted to avoid the crowds of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This little place was just right, with modern accommodations and tastefully decorated with a cabinesque feel inside and out. "Lovely log home backing onto the National park. We loved the location. The house was beautiful & had almost everything we needed. The hot tub was especially nice after a day of hiking. My only recommendation would be that if you want a fire, pick up wood, kindling & paper in town. "We were there to ride the Great Smokey Railroad through the Nantahala Gorge. The location was perfect. Not far from the train depot. "I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT. "We had a wonderful stay at this home in the Smoky Mountains. It is in a calm and quiet area, but still close enough to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The views on all sides of the house are amazing.
