As noted by the owners this place is for you if you’ll love being on a small family farm so of course there are chickens and goats and dogs and a horse, etc.; it’s awesome. Say hi to Zora and Michu!"

"My husband stayed here for a weekend getaway and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay! Polly was so helpful with our late check in and getting us all off the information we needed for a peaceful stay. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the back patio looking at the lake sipping our morning coffee and resting and relaxing in the condo. I would definitely recommend Polly’s condo for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful trip!!"

"We are heading south for the winter and needed an overnight spot. We wanted something different to a hotel. This yurt… AMAZING! Extremely clean. About 5-10 minutes off the highway. Restaurant nearby. Secluded but not “scary” secluded (if you know what I mean). The yurt has all the accommodations you need and is EXTREMELY comfortable with plenty of space. Perfect after a day of driving! "

But if you are looking for a rustic farmhouse reminiscent of your grandparents or great grandparents and within walking distance of Main St, this place will work. Keep in mind it is a 1930’s house with a lot of the original “charm”. We loved it and plan to stay again."

"Took my wife for a quick birthday get away and had a wonderful time. The views of the lake and the accommodations was more than we had expected. It snowed on Friday night so Saturday we went out on the really nice big balcony and just sit and took pictures. Everything was just perfect and due to weather owners told us to just take our time leaving on Sunday. We are planning on coming back this summer!! Loved this place!!!!"

"Rented Blackwater for my 40th birthday celebration. I couldn't imagine a better place if I tried. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed. The arcade was beyond my dreams! The decorations for Halloween made it even better. We're already planning a return in the summer. Communication with the host was fast and reliable, and they added some personal touches for my birthday that were very sweet and definitely appreciated. The kitchen also had everything we needed! I'm in love."

"We stayed at this cabin for some family time and it was perfect. The New River Trail is beautiful and right on the property. We also enjoyed a hike on the properties trails, in the woods. We saw wildlife every morning. The hot tub was huge and clean, as was the rest of the house! Plenty to do right at the cabin."
