Great Big Lakehouse

The pictures don't do this place justice. The property is absolutely beautiful. My kids swam and fished at the dock every day. The pool table and air hockey were also a big hit. This is a fun house. Chris was very helpful and quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had. This a great place to take whole family because there is plenty of space.

Not luxury as marketed- disappointed for the price.

The house is marketed as luxury and is definitely NOT. The kitchen is not fully stocked, missing basic things like a blender, mixer, cheese grater, etc. All bedrooms did not have TVs or trashcans. The master suites did not even have anywhere to sit in all of the empty space. The bathroom in the smaller master suite is not functional. No doors, no hooks to hang towels, no shelves to place toiletries, no trashcan. Luxury needs to be removed from the description of this rental. The theater is not functional. There are no directions to work the TV, surround sound etc. Attempted to get help from the property mgr only to be left frustrated with combative unhelpful emails rather than a phone call. The dining chairs are horribly uncomfortable. Overall have stayed at much nicer places for half the price. The neighbors have dogs that are outside all morning day and night barking barking barking.

Amazing property, Chris was amazing and everything was so clean and beautiful. The kitchen was so big and perfect for all the meals we cooked and shared with my family and friends. I will definitely be back to this amazing house and not to mention the morning views of the lake and deers on the property. So much beauty. Wish I could have stayed longer, thank you so much for being such a great host Chris. I truly appreciate you for making this possible for my friends and family. We will be back for the summer!! Highly recommended to everyone that sees this.

Pleasant stay in the woods on Lanier Lake

The house was beautiful, nicely furnished, and decorated. The kitchen was well equipped. It felt like home from the moment we walked in. The location is excellent, in the woods on a lake. There are shops and restaurants nearby, from fast food and supermarkets to upscale restaurants. We were nine adults, and the layout of the house and balconies allowed us to spend time together and provided privacy for those who wanted some time for themselves. As a note, the water in three of the first-floor bathrooms was only lukewarm, so everyone on that floor ended up showering in the master bathroom. Make sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and body soap/wash. The only soap provided is hand soap sanitizer. We spent a week in the house, and we all like to cook, so we had to buy garbage bags (only four were provided) and dish detergent—only a tiny bottle was provided. If you plan on a BBQ, make sure you have enough gas for the BBQ; ours lasted a few minutes before it ran out. Other than these logistics failures, we had a really good time at this lake house and are sure to come back again better equipped.

Fantastic Lake Weekend!

Large beautiful home. Very spacious and well equipped. Everything was clean, well appointed and as described. Short, flat walk to great boat dock with large party deck in quiet cove. Great communication with host before and during stay. Looking forward to booking this home again for our family outings.

Perfect Lake House

Absolutely beautiful lake house! We were traveling with a group of five families with teenage boys. The property is perfect for large groups. Plenty of space for everyone and the boys had so much to do to keep them busy. There was a media room, pool table, air hockey and the boat dock is just a few steps away. The lake is absolutely gorgeous too. Everything was very clean and the owner was extremely helpful with any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!
