"Of the 4 hotels I stayed in in Scotland, this was the best. A short drive outside of St Andrews with rates a fraction of the cost of hotels in town. Parking on site was easy. On site restaurant was excellent. The fish and chips was the best I had in the country. Staff was amazing. Rooms were in excellent condition. Property was unique and looked like a small village. "

A member of staff offered to apply some airfreshner which did not solve the problem at all, it just hid it for a while. I think it was the bathtub drain. "Our stay at the Spindrift Guest House was our favorite across our Scottish travels! Mark and Jennie’s hospitality was amazing and the accommodations were perfect. We took their suggestions for traveling by train into Edinburgh, where to eat in downtown Anstruther, and driving into St Andrew’s. This location was a quick 15-minute drive to the Old Course, which was very convenient since we were going daily to enter the singles draw.
