"As always everything was wonderful on Helms Mountain. Peaceful, relaxing, and the electric fireplace made it cozy on the cold nights. Hot tub was the best way to start the day and also finish the day under the stars."

"The cabin was in impeccable shape, wnd provided just enough room for me and two friends to spend the weekend comfortably. About 45 minutes to the Thorton gap entrance of Shenandoah and the cabin is about 30 minutes down the river itself. This cabin provides a reclusive getaway while still being near some of Virginia’s biggest attractions"

"Great stay. Incredible views. Perfect weekend getaway. If you want to have a nice dinner bring your own glassware. Supplies were minimal in the house. "

"This is a comfortable cabin that has everything you need. It is set back off the road and is very peaceful and quiet. The porch is so inviting for morning coffee or a late afternoon beverage. If you are exploring Shenandoah National Park, this cabin is SO close. There is a shortcut to Hwy 211 via a gravel access road (Jewell Hollow Access Road) that saves a lot of time in getting to the park. You will find it on Google Maps. Be aware that the listing is correct....there is NO cell coverage or...

"The place is off the beaten path but well worth it. Serenity surrounds you. We went to SNP to hike Old Rag Mountain and were so thankful for the hot tub at the end of the day. It was perfect. The house is clean, we ate all our meals at the there and it is equipped with all the basic pots and dishes you will need. Fireplace was awesome too. Highly recommend. "

"I gave 4 stars on cleanliness due to hallway floors being very dirty. No white socks remained. Communications were horrible due to phone being very static filled. Master bedroom lamp was broken. Exchanged it with one from another bedroom. TV remote controls need new batteries. Otherwise, very nice place."

"O lugar é bom. Esperava um pouco mais, mas no geral foi legal. Nao tem cafe da manha gratuito o q achei negativo, ja q sabemos q o custo nao e alto pra fornecer isso aos hospedes. Jantamos no restaurante do hotel, e achamos caro pelo q foi oferecido. Entao pela experiencia foi positivo, porem nao voltaremos novamente para hospedagem. É limpinho e a senhora q atende no balcao é uma fofa. A cama era de mola e fazia barulho alto quando nos mexiamos. Enfim se tivessemos nos hospedado em Luray teria...

"The hotel didn’t look like much on the outside when I pulled up but it was spotless on the inside. The lobby looked like you could eat off the floors. Room was excellent , clean and quiet. Service was excellent and so accommodating. Breakfast room was very nice and the staff in the breakfast room was excellent. Very clean. "

"The first thing we noticed was how beautiful the place is as we drove up the driveway. We arrived a bit late and the clerk got us checked in knowing we were worn out from the trip. The room was wonderful and bed was extremely comfortable. The other thing i need to mention is the restaurant in the basement which was a speakeasy. The food was absolutely second to none. We found a hidden gem and will be returning in the future!"
