"Had an amazing time at Asheville River Cabins. They literally thought of everything, from fresh ground coffee, extra towels fro the hot tub and even grilling utensils and extra wood for the fire pit. My only recommendation would be to have the cabin numbers more visible. We arrived late at night and was difficult to find our way. Once we found the cabin, we thoroughly enjoyed that all of the lights to our cabin were on inside, it felt very welcoming. "

"We were looking for a weekend away and this cabin definitely provided that! Amazing views, all the amenities needed for a weekend in. Wonderful getaway that allows you to forget the world while remaining close enough to things that you can experience the surrounding areas. Apart from a few cars in the drives down the mountain, we were able to forget about others and relax for a wonderful weekend. "

Property management is top notch, Important note: this home has three levels - and natural stone steps up to the front door. Need to be sure-footed and able to do stairs."

"Though the road to arrive at the location was a bit bumpy due to hurricane damage, the view from the top was phenomenal! We enjoyed the hike to Jump Off Rock. "Our great niece’s wedding was in Black Mountain and I chose this place because our family could spread out comfortably and we could cook our own breakfast each morning. The extra special surprise was the view of a full moon rising from behind the mountains each night and shining down on the lake."

"We had a great experience. The cabin is very clean and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a week-long stay with two adults and two young kids. The cabin is between Asheville and Weaverville — a good location, not walkable to much but a short drive to many, many things. (NB: The map on the VRBOlisting showed the wrong location for us; the cabin as actually father north a few miles then what it showed to us. But that was fine for us) "

"Unfortunately, Western North Carolina was rocked by Hurricane Helene. We booked our cottage, several weeks prior to Helene. The owner responded to our questions and concerns quickly. The owner sent us directions to the cottage that are spot on. The cottage described was accurate. The cottage was very clean and very comfortable. "We were in Asheville for a medical procedure, and this quiet 2BR/2BA rental in the basement of the owner’s home was perfect. It was close to the hospital and it was easy to get to groceries, pharmacies, and other necessities. Even though the rental is right under their home, it feels quiet and restful. The views are amazing. And if you need anything, the owners help you out. They respond quickly to communications. We had to leave early due to Hurricane Helene’s approach, but I am sure when...

"We loved our stay! The building was surprising in a good way! It was clean, convenient and comfortable! Would definitely stay there again on subsequent trips. Within 10 minutes drive time, of everything we wanted to so in Asheville! Thank you for a great stay!"

"Booked this place due to its good reviews and 3 things disappointed me: 1. Quality of the bed. I woke up multiple times because the bed would make noises at any movement 2. Shower with very little water 3. Cleanness of the bathroom. Could be improved"
