"We love Essex and the ability to stay with friends in the Withrow house is great. The house could use some better amenities however. Things like coffee maker or a French press at least, cutting boards and some pots and pans from this decade would have improved the stay. Better lighting and hooks throughout the house would also have made the stay better for winter, ski families. The LOGE staff was great though and tried to problem solve small things for us. We love the area and trails are top...

"Not really a cabin, but a beautiful home. Easy check in. First class furnishings and decorations. Comfortable bed. Not really a two bedroom as the 2nd queen size bed is in the loft. Everything worked perfectly. We would absolutely stay here again. Most highly recommended."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was as promised and it was located nicely between East and West Glacier. The place was clean, the kitchen had all we needed to cook and eat. The trains can be noisy but once we fell asleep we slept pretty good. "

"The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed from cooking utensils, pots and pans, cooler to bear spray. We enjoyed being able to use the cabin as our base to travel to West or East Glacier. After a day of hiking, it was nice to have a peaceful retreat to return to in the evenings . Our host, Wayne, was extremely helpful. Thank you!"

"This property was amazing! Fantastic views of Elk Mountain right off the deck. It was extremely clean and well taken care of. The property was in the perfect location almost right in the middle between east and west glacier entrances. There is no WiFi/internet or cell service! Which was very peaceful for us. Plenty of towels, dishes, and general houseware needs. We definitely recommend staying here!"

"My wife and I so enjoyed the Carriage House! Everything we needed was provided for a wonderful five night stay. We loved the decor and the cabin feel. Tucked away off Hwy 2 in just enough woods to get that secluded feel, but still close enough to get where we wanted to go. Roz greeted us upon arrival to make sure our accommodations were just right. A true home away from home. Very nice!"
