Tucked up next to the Coconino National Forest, this cabin home is the ideal spot for your next trip. With an extensive, natural backyard that has room for the kids to play and families to gather, you will have no problem entertaining larger groups at this getaway. The backyard has been recently equipped with a gas fireplace/firepit and a brand new built-in grill. Recently updated, the vaulted ceilings will welcome you to the bright and cheerful open living room. Relax out on the front deck and enjoy your morning coffee amongst the trees. After everyone returns for a day on the trails or slopes, head into the fully equipped kitchen and whip up a home-cooked meal for the group. End each night with a cup of hot cocoa and watch a favorite movie on the flatscreen TV!

Savor the beautiful Flagstaff weather while exploring the great hiking and snowmobile trails nearby. Just six miles away, head downtown to try out one of the popular, local restaurants. Or shop the local boutiques to find the perfect souvenir or new piece of gear. Head down to Slide Rock State Park 22 miles away for a day on the extensive trail system, or take a day to drive up to view the majestic colors of the Grand Canyon (89 miles), as it is well worth the drive! Plus, if you have a few golfers in the group, Pine Canyon Country Club is a few miles away.

Kachina village family visit
House was fairly well appointed. It needed a few more things but we just adapted and were quite comfortable. Loved the front porch deck. Sat outside much of the time. House was within walking distance from family so very convenient. Nice little “Ovi” and neighborhood!

The cabin itself was very clean. The only downside was the lighting in the kitchen. Definitely needs more light. The neighbors next door were a bit trashy to say the least. Did not use the BBQ grill as it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned on months. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Family Vacation
Overall we had a very good stay. The property was clean, easy to access, great location. The neighboring cabin looked like a hoarder lives there. I can't even describe the amount of "junk" and vehicles sitting in the front yard next door. The TV didn't work. It had Roku, but we were not able to use that or any of the streaming services. We kept getting an error to connect the tv to the internet, but when you checked the internet connections, it said it was connected. The property management group was not able to resolve that issue during our 3 day stay. The front porch light is on a timer, which makes it hard when you are arriving after dark to navigate the stairs and get the key code punched in. Other than those things, we had a great stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this nicely appointed A-Frame. The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in Flag.

Lovely Chalet
The property itself was beautiful. The next door neighbors yard was a little unsightly but we just closed the curtains on that side of the home and took care of that. The only thing we wish we had was a book with all the info at hand such as wifi password, surrounding restaurants, activities, etc. The home was filled with plenty of towels and bedding. An extra trash bag would have been nice as well. They did leave a new sponge, dish soap, dishwasher pods, and laundry detergent pods. They also had a blow dryer, soap, and shampoo and conditioner (complimentary hotel style). We would definitely stay in the property again.

Flagstaff Getaway
Nice property with great backyard space. Cleanliness was an issue though. Outdoor grill had not been cleaned in some time so we had to do it. Carpets needed vacuuming and sheets and towels had stain spots on them. As attractive as the actual cabin was, the next door neighbor used his property as a trash dump. Thank goodness we only had to look at it coming and going. Not likely to rent it again because of these issues.

Not a fan
The house itself was decent. However, it was not very clean. There were even food bits all over the fridge and sticky spots on one of the night stands. The driveway was the only one in the neighborhood not cleaned off. It was COVERED in ice which is very dangerous. The fireplace had no gas in it so we couldn't enjoy that either.

Fabulous place to stay!
The house was beautiful and very clean. We were able to walk to hiking trails. The beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with everything we needed. I highly recommend staying at this place.

Majority of light switch didn't turn anything on couldn't barbecue at night in the backyard because there was no light and also for the price we pay to say there there should be basic cable just a suggestion I know it doesn't come with cable but I think other people that stay there my appreciate it as I would have other than that the place was very clean

Great house but beds are horrible!
The house itself is lovely, it was clean, and the manager was quick to assist when we struggled to connect to wifi. However, the beds were horrible. You book a house but expect it to be as nice as, or better than, a hotel. Hotels always have nice beds. The other vacation rentals I've stayed at had nice beds. This one did not. It was my anniversary trip and my boyfriend was forced to sleep on the couch due to the fact that the bed was simply too hard for his back. Both mattresses were the hardest mattresses I've ever experienced. I tossed and turned all night and woke up with back pain. It is unacceptable for a house, which you book for a place to sleep, to have such awful sleeping accommodations in my book. I probably could've slept on the hardwood floor and gotten a better night sleep. So disappointing.

Anniversary Trip
We loved this house. It was a really cute cabin inspired home. We spent our days exploring the Grand Canyon and Horseshoe Bend, and then came back to relax in our little VRBO. Also sleeps 6 but was the perfect size for two people to get away.

Wonderful Moki Ovi Chalet
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Moki Ovi Chalet. It has everything you need, and more! It's location in Kachina Village is perfect. Backs up to the forest so no neighbors behind us, just beautiful nature. Drove the 7 miles to historic downtown Flagstaff for lunch every day but cooked or grilled dinner every night to enjoy every moment we could of this very cool place. We stayed five nights and didn't want to leave. Will definitely be booking the Moki Ovi Chalet for another getaway!

Peaceful Pines
The cabin is just as billed, comfortable, clean and surrounded by tall whispering pines. We enjoyed watching the squirrels and Steller’s Jays from the front porch and back deck. It was so neat to be able to to walk right into the forrest (great walking trails.) Neighbors are nearby, but all friendly and very nice to interact with. Very quiet at night. Cabin is nicely furnished and the beds are comfortable. Plentiful towels. Really, no issues at all, this is a great option if you are looking for a respite in Flagstaff!

Everything was clean and convenient. Really enjoyed our stay. Only uncomfortable thing was the living room only had one 3 cushion couch. That made it hard for the whole family to relax.

The place was very clean. The location is okay. ..junkie neighbors. There is no AC. The lighting is horrible...worst thing about the place. We went to play cards and enjoy the weather. Weather was great but the lighting was not the best for our purposes. There is basically no lighting in the living room...a chandelier that is worthless. It was not a good fit for us. Access is easy...contact support was great...there is a small store within walking distance. Overall it was ok. I am grateful that it was clean. Oh...beds were very comfortable.

Not what you pay for.
While our stay wasn't great, the property wasn't horrible. I think a pros and cons list would be more beneficial than walking through the issues of our stay and provide better feedback. Pros: Appeared to be recently renovated. Felt secluded even though neighbors aren't far away. Kitchen appliances are great. Was able to get in contact with someone quickly and they made an effort to fix an issue. Wifi is more than sufficient at the property. Cons: Property wasn't as clean as it was advertised, we saw quite a few dead bugs on the floor. Property is advertised as heated and cooled but lacks cooling which was the biggest issue for us. Management didn't really solve our issue. They just made it slightly better while causing another issue. Fans we were provided after contacting management about the heat were brand new but also very loud. They helped cool but then we had a ton of noise. Had to kill a few bugs including a moth and a spider before being able to sleep in one of the bedrooms. The lighting could be improved, the main room wasn't well lit and most of the lights are lamps and not connected to switches. Overall, our stay wasn't anything like we hoped it would be mostly due to the lack of climate control. If you come during the winter, your experience might be much better. My suggestion to management would be to fix the climate control issue for warm days and to work on having the house sealed for bugs and lighting improvements.

Perfect by the Pines
This property was very nice! The backyard borders the national forest so there were beautiful unobstructed views from the upstairs bedroom, and it made the back deck a serene spot to sit and eat or hang out. The neighborhood was tucked back away from the busy roads, and the house is on a culdesac, which was nice so our kids could ride their bikes and scooters safely. A block away was a trailhead which led to an easier system of trails that was very doable for the kids, parents and grandparents on our trip. House was well stocked with everything necessary for our stay...tons of towels which is always helpful! Everything looked like it had been recently renovated, and was extremely clean. Only item that could have been better was the downstairs lighting, which was a bit minimal, but we went to bed early anyway so it wasn’t too bad. Also one next door neighbor looked to be a bit of a hoarder but it did not affect our enjoyment of our trip. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this property!
