This is a unique two bedroom, dog friendly cottage situated on The Bay holiday complex. The ground floor provides an open plan family living, dining and kitchen area along with a cloakroom and entrance hall. The contemporary styled living area features an electric "log-burner" stove and gliding bi-fold patio door, opening onto a paved patio area. A brick-built barbecue and wooden patio furniture provide the ultimate alfresco dining experience. Free high-speed fibre broadband WI-FI provided.

Situated nearby Beach Haven Cottage for joint holidays.

Relax in a King sized bed; bedroom with Juliet balcony and one with two singles. Bathroom with bath and shower over.

Stayed in the cottage for many years always have the same positive experience. Since upgrading to a smart TV which is useful sadly the kids can no longer play on the Wii as there is no connection point . However still no faults and amazing holiday home.

Lovely stay in a lovely property just a short walk to the beach. The holiday village was very clean and easy to get around. Short drive to the Piebald Inn where you can choose for an endless menu of pies.

weekend at the Bay

We had the pleasure of staying here this weekend and whilst it wasn't a completely relaxing time for all, the kids were in a swimming gala, the location and property were spot on. Great communication from Vrbo and from the owner. The offer a later checkout was greatly appreciated. Our only slightly negative comment would come from my wife who struggled a little to get shampoo out of her hair due to the power of the shower. Otherwise amazing property and will definitely look to book again if we are visiting the Filey area. Cheers Nigel

Loved beachcomber holiday home it was spotlessly clean and very spacious would definitely stop there again ps just one problem couldnā€™t locate the safe key box we were looking for for a while thinking it should be near door back or front of property but we discovered it was in the barbecue area so took us a while but got in Thanks Paul

Filey Bay weekend

Lovely little property, very clean. It had everything we needed and was ideally positioned for us to explore Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington and Flamborough. The kids loved their time there, feeding the ducks outside of the property went down a treat.

We had a wonderful short stay at this beautiful cottage! The attention to detail throughout the property is excellent. The location is fantastic, especially for our dog, with the beach just a short walk away and a lovely, easy walk into Filey. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. Communication with the host was excellent ā€“ Nigel was incredibly responsive and helpful. We will definitely be coming back!

Lovely cottage, lovely resort

We really enjoyed our stay at Beachcomber cottage. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a home-from-home break. Would be even better in the summer when you can use the outdoor space and bbq. The resort is really lovely too - very clean and a very short stroll down to the beach. The dog friendly pub on site worked really well for us for evening meals. It was very busy even in February so I would imagine booking would be essential during peak season. The owner was readily available to answer any questions also. Highly recommend the cote.

Property was as described and easily accessible. It was equipped with everything you would need for a a short stay and the facilities are fantastic especially the pool and gym. Communication and information provided by Nigel was great and will definitely stay here again.

Great comfortable stay

This property is exactly as described. We have used it more than once now and everytime itā€™s very clean and well kept. Itā€™s also very warm and cosy. Our most recent stay was very wet and windy and we were glad of the coziness. We would recommend again and again. The owner is quick to respond to questions and the process is very simple. The accommodation was perfect for what we needed. It felt spacious and was in a great location, just 15-20 minute walk to the beach. The only drawback was not being able to checkin until 4pm and having to check out by 10am

Fabulous stay

We had a lovely week at Beachcomber Cottage. Nice and spacious with everything we needed. Plenty of plates, cutlery etc and things to cook with. Liked the fact there were parking spaces right next to the house. Welcome pack was a nice touch. Location of the house on the estate is good, not far to pool, playground and pub.

Perfect seaside stay for a family of 4

Lovely holiday home on a quiet, well maintained complex. We had a relaxing stay and it had all the essentisls needed for a family stay with young children. A couple of extra things to note if travelling with young children: No blinds in bedrooms (but we always prepare for this and we took a blackout travel blind with us for the room where kids slept). No bedguard for the single bed (there was a gap between bed and wall which a child could slip down) but again we brought with us a bedguard incase of this, which worked well. No childrens plates/ bowls/ cutlery so you would need to bring some with you. Plenty of storage room in bedrooms and a nice open-plan downstairs area leading on to a grassed area. Could do with a touch-up on some paint work on stairwell and zips on sofa cushions broken (minor things to sort in order to add attention to detail but it didn't bother us). Shower was not very powerful, didnā€™t seem to have a pump, but water was hot. Could do with a couple of champagne glasses too., just incase of celebration fizz! It takes about a 15 min leisurely stroll to beautiful beach and there is some facilities on-site if want to use. Really good value for money and we will definitely be back to stay again. guard for the single bed for our toddler
