"We would definitely recommend this spotlessly clean property and stay again. The local pub/ restaurant ( just across the road) served delicious food and are very welcoming. I managed to get some fab photos of the area and Glencoe too"

"Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx"

"Absolutely fabulous apartment. Everything in it we needed plus plus. Very clean and everything worked. Richard was very communicative and suggested things to do, places to eat etc etc. The only negative was that it was on a busy street and therefore very noisy during the day."

"Super flat in a lovely, perfect location for town amenities and for dogs. Flat was very well equipped with modcons including Wifi and Netflix. For some reason I could not get free view on the TV so in between Netflix films I was watching NBNews and AfricanNews! Really recommend this property for a holiday in Edzell."

"Super stay with truly amazing views. Whilst a steep walk down to the beach and back from the property it was well worth the effort as a fantastic beach. The fact that we had the beach all to ourselves on the first day was an added bonus. Great walks from the property. Property was very well equipped and Gary a lovely welcoming host. The only reasons for the 4 rating rather than 5 on a couple of the sections was simply due to the limited space in the kitchen / dining area and that you had go...

"We had already expected a lot from the advertisement. But seeing the house was overwhelming. We spent an unforgettable week as a group of seven friends in a luxurious house in a beautiful setting.the only regret was that we were not able to take full advantage of the many facilities offered by the estate, such as the walled garden."

"Loved everything about this property. The house is beautiful and so clean. Amanda had left milk, snacks and the house has some basics to use which is great. The robes, slippers and bathroom products are lovely. Wished we'd stayed longer to enjoy everything about this house."

"Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"

"We loved our stay at the wonderful cottage directly by the sea. We found it perfect at any weather. If it's sunny, enjoy the gorgeous view from the garden with the patio and if it's cold and rainy, huddle up in the livigroom by by the fire. It's wonderful to wake up, open the (really thick) curtains and see the ocean! Claire is the perfect host. Always available via chat if there's a question and lightning-fast with her replies. Johnshaven is a short dog-walk away with its pretty small harbour...

"It was a real treat to arrive here after a long journey. It is a beautiful, modern house in an idyllic setting. We had ample room to spread out and accommodate our large extended family. Everything was spotless. Vinnie showed my sister around and was responsive to all our questions and requests throughout the stay. We will cherish our memories of this house forever! "Cottage is in a lovely quiet location and is very well equipped- beds are very coverage too. I didn’t have much communication from the hosts as didn’t need it- only downside was getting told off for putting the radiators on. I couldn’t get the towels dry overnight for a shower the next day- weather was too wet to hand them out and they wouldn’t dry in the cottage."
