Blue Ridge Mountains Luxury 1-bedroom Mountain Cabin -- Viewpoint Cabin is perched among the tall Virginia pine trees and surrounded by soft bed of mountain laurels. As you open the front door, you are greeted with a giant cypress tree in the center of the house and then you are immediately drawn to the unobstructed view through the huge windows. Viewpoint Cabin offers you light and airy interior where you feel suspended in air. An architectural masterpiece!!!

When you are inside, you might curl up in the cozy window seat and read your favorite book. Or you can step outside to the view deck, perfect for enjoying the brisk morning air or bask in the warm afternoon sun on the lounge chair. Then, you relax in the hot tub on the deck.

The unique benefits of the cabin are the following: Wide open view of the mountains from every room. All one level. Hot but on the view deck. Jacuzzi bath in the master bathroom. Tons of hiking trails right out your front door, plus horse stables right in the Leatherwood Mountains complex. Boone is just 35 minutes away!!!

Wonderful cabin. We appreciated the view off the balcony and the large windows especially when a thunderstorm came through. Very roomy with a large common area. Had all the utensils needed for cooking a few meals. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Overall pretty good

The property is secluded and has an amazing view. Quiet and very peaceful is the best part. The deck needs work I fell partially in one of the planks and hot tub likely needs to be repaired. Heat was in excess of 110 when it was opened Place was clean and comfortable. Overall good place to go just needs some basic upkeep

Tranquil Retreat

Beautiful cabin that is like a treehouse in the mountains. Very clean, amazing view, peaceful and kitchen well equipped. Easy checkin and Joy was great to work with.

Secluded and romantic

Love the seclusion and quietness of the property, beautiful views. I had a few problems with some dirty pots that were left. We had to clean before using. The place was also freezing cold and we were not able to adjust the temperature limited cell service up here so weā€™re not able to contact the property owners other than those few glitches it was a beautiful stay

What a great relaxing getaway!

Quiet picturesque location

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is secluded but not completely isolated. Very good views; my wife took quite a few pictures. The property appears to be built to be accessible if that's a need. The kitchen is well stocked with goods, which pleased my wife to no end. The roads within 500 meters of the cabin are narrow but navigatable. Very picturesque load scenes as well; again, many pictures my wife took. All in all an excellent place to stay. We intend to return. .

Perfect relaxing weekend away

Joyā€™s mountain house was exactly what we needed. The house itself was beautiful and spacious for two people. We loved the back deck with the hot tub and the window seats with mountain views. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable beds weā€™ve slept in at a rental house. There was a pretty hike right out the front door that we took our dog on and he loved it! This was overall a great place for us to relax, unplug, and escape.

Wonderfully accessible

We wanted a place that was easily accessible because one of us uses a walker and wheelchair at some points. It was easy in and all one level, the bed was low, the primary shower zero threshold and the vanity wheelchair accessible. The neighborhood was fantastic!

Nearly Perfection!

This house is beautiful as is the view. The set up is perfect for a getaway for two. The bathtub in the primary suite is amazing. The kitchen is mostly well appointed and the views are incredible. Joy was so easy to deal with and responded quickly to all our questions. My only complaint is the hot tub. It had been serviced apparently, but only half the jets were working and it smelled by the second day. We didnā€™t use again. It is just old and probably needs to be replaced. The property would be completely perfect if that experience were as first class as the rest of the house.

Great privacy

Very nice home in a secure gated community with extreme privacy and extreme views. Only drawback is the long drive to Boone and blowing rock but worth the stay.

Romantic long weekend

My husband and I stayed at the cabin for a three-day weekend trip for our anniversary and it was simply perfect! We LOVED the gorgeous view off the deck and the hot tub. When it got too hot outside or rainy, we snuggled up in the cozy nook and enjoyed the mountain view from the comfort of inside. It felt spacious and clean while also cozy and warm. It's a little bit of a trek to get to the nearest town, and we forgot to bring shampoo/conditioner so we had to drive to Blowing Rock, about 50 min away. But we really enjoyed exploring Blowing Rock and the drive was scenic, so still fun. Just make sure you pack everything you need! Overall it was one of my favorite rental houses we've ever stayed at and we would absolutely stay again!
