"We have stayed her several times and always have a hard time leaving. When we step inside any tension just drains away and we feel so at home. You can just spend hours watching all the birds on the large deck as you sit by the large fireplace. We love cooking in the open kitchen with the grill right outside the door on the back deck.Phyllis has supplied this clean cabin with everything you could need. "

"We really enjoyed staying at this property! The house had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, massage chair, and coffee bar. We went ice fishing near Gremore lake and caught crappies, perch and sauger. We had pizza at The Porch and it was fantastic! We will definitely stay here again!"

"The cabin was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. It was well appointed, clean, beautifully decorated, and located on a beautiful, serene lake. There was plenty of room for our two dogs to run and explore the property. We look forward to staying again!"

"My husband and I came up for a quick visit to see my in-laws. I wish we could have spent more time at this cabin. It was adorable, it had all the necessary amenities. I loved the wood stove; it kept the cabin warm on chilly evenings. Staying right on the Wisconsin river was a bonus. I enjoyed sipping coffee on the porch and listening to the wind chimes. I saw from the guest book that many people who stay have returned multiple times since their first visit and I plan to come back, too! ...

"My bf and I had a great little getaway before the holidays staying in this cottage with some character. We loved it's location to both downtown Mineral Point and to towns nearby to visit House on the Rock and visit Governor Dodge State park for some winter hiking. Overall it was a lovely experience. The hosts were wonderful and very communicative as well. "

"This cozy little cabin was the perfect spot to feel at peace. The view of the water and the sounds of nature was a reminder to enjoy the simple things in life away from the great escape. Both property owners were very welcoming and friendly. A place I would return to again. "

"We came to town to see a show at the Opera house. This Cottage was wonderful. Great location, very clean and spacious. Had everything we needed and then some. Bev was super helpful and communicative. Would definitely recommend. And we look forward to coming back again"

"A few hours after checking into the VRBO on Friday, there was a mechanical issue in the house related to the extreme cold weather which could have ruined our entire weekend; however, the property owner promptly got someone on sight first thing Saturday morning, determined the issue couldn't be fixed immediately, found a property within 1 mile where we could stay for no additional fee, AND gave us a refund.
