"The cabin was very clean. There was no firewood available to purchase, and the hot tub would not hold the heat, even in 50° weather. The hot tub was very clean as well. The DVD player worked. The short walk to the trail was nice, and the time it took to get to the bridge was less than an hour. We did not find a creek anywhere near the cabin that was accessible."

"it is a very quiet area and gave me and my friends the weekend getaway we needed. We even left some items by accident and the owners mailed them back to us 10/10"

"We stayed here for a close location yo a field hockey tournament. It was so clean, close and in a safe area! It was dark on the way home so it took some getting used to! Lol. But place was clean, well lit and well stocked for 2 moms and 2 teen girls. Would definitely use again! "

"Four of us women have been friends since we were teenagers..but have never gone on vacation together. Booked this place for our besties 40th birthday weekend. Very relaxing. Hot tub was perfect. Fire pit was so relaxing. The stars were mesmerizing. Just far enough to feel like to see away but close enough for it to be convenient. Thankful for you all opening your peace out paradise! "

"I asked the owners if they would be open to a well behaved dog if we booked multiple weekends in a row during several months for hunting season. They said no which is fine. It doesn't hurt to ask. We booked one night since we didn't have arrangements yet and this is near property we just leased. We didn't get to this cabin until after 6pm. The owner was in the cabin "fixing" the heater and the cabin was not cold. I felt like my integrity was questioned because we didn't get a message to tell...

The sunsets were colorful and the clear moonless nights burst with stars, especially looking up from the hot tub. "My family and I traveled to Powhatan for a wedding at The Mill at Fine Creek. The house and the town had such a beautiful small town vibe that was such a perfect place for us to hang out and get ready. We were able to enjoy the owners restaurant, which was right across the street, and an adorable coffee shop. There was also a great park nearby with walking trails and playground for the kids. We truly enjoyed our stay! "

"Spent the weekend at Terre Haute with friends from college. The home and grounds were beautiful! The host was fantastic and we appreciate the treat basket left out for us. The books were fantastic! It was very quiet and peaceful and I would definitely stay again. My only suggestions would be to offer a little more comfortable seating for just having coffee and catching up. Otherwise, thank you for a lovely stay."

"By far the nicest hotel room we’ve stayed in. Great view over the town of Farmville. Restaurant was nice as well. Breakfast was not included on the weekend which was disappointing. "We had an accessible double room with a walk-in shower and a shower bench, which was great, except that there was inadequate water pressure to use the handheld shower head effectively. The room was clean but lacked adequate tabletop space and had only one small side chair. We arrived in the evening so went to a drive-thru to pick up food and bring it back to the room.
