"This is a beautiful quiet cottage finished to a high standard with everything you need for a chilled relaxing holiday.Communication with Ray and Julie was great and the pool was an amazing addition to the cottage.The location is perfect for walking Dovedale 30 mins, Tissington trail 20 mins and the Old Dog Pub which was very welcoming 10 minutes walk.Cannot fault the whole package and would not hesitate to revisit in the future."

"We’ve stayed in the other property and that seemed to be abit more updated than this one. It advertised as having internet but as property is so remote and thick cottage stone we couldn’t get any internet. Also kitchen area may be needs some updating. All in all had a lovely time. "

We were very pleased with the little extras that the owners have available like tea & coffee. 40 mins from Alton Towers was very handy with a Tesco enroute so we could get any bits we needed. "Ideal location for exploring the Peak district Property was spotless, nicely furnished, well equipped kitchen. Availability of Netflix very nice touch. Property advertised for up to 10, but would think it could be a bit of a squeeze unless several of party were small children. There were 6 of us and it was perfect size"

"Lovely place to stay in a rural setting. The cottage was cosy and warm, and had everything we needed. The only downside was no wifi, but we had a good phone connection so managed with our hotspot. Jo & Clive were great hosts alwsys available and helpful. It is ideally situated for walk, Buxton, Leek and other peak park towns. Would definitely book it again."
