"Our multi-generational family absolutely loved our stay at Fell End. The house was decorated for Xmas and is beautiful throughout. The facilities including movie room, hot tub, table football, table tennis were awesome. The house is homely, warm throughout and stylishly and comfortably furnished! Great value!!"

"Perfect for a lone traveller with some mobility issues to have a bedroom and shower room on the ground floor. Useful supplies of milk, tea coffee and a Nespresso machine. Toiletries supplied for the bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept well. A guide book to the cottage contained lots of useful information to the cottage and surrounding area. It was a very relaxing couple of days and I hope to be back next year. Thank you Claire for making it so pleasant."

"We had a wonderful stay at Settlers lodge. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped! Loved seeing the squirrels around the garden! Set in a great area for walking and exploring. "Second time saying here, and hopefully not the last. Really well located for exploring Cumbria and Hadrians Wall destinations. AD122 bus which takes in those locations stops right outside hotel. Really friendly staff, great breakfast, super clean rooms. Older building so expect some sloping floors and walls off-plumb. Bedrooms are upstairs with no lift, but not a problem for us. Great value, with bar serving goid food and real ale. Can’t ask for much more. "
