"It was very nice and clean. Two issues. The shower curtain smelled like an old wet towel which made the rest of the unit smell. The seams between the bedroom carpet and the kitchen floor aren’t laid down properly. Our 2 years olds foot as well as our was poked by staples or something that points up. It would be good for the owner to check on the installation. "

"I can’t say enough! Norm and sue are incredible host super accommodating! Gave great advice for fishing ! Allowed late check out gave my ever so curious son a ride on four wheeler ! "Stayed here with my college friends of over 20 years. We met in Eau Claire and this was a great central meeting point for everyone. The location was great as downtown was a 5 min walk away and less than 20 min drive to downtown Eau Claire. "We had a wonderful stay with our grandparent (>80y) and kids (9&17) and dog. The house was perfect for our different generations. Grandparents stayed downstairs with their own bathroom and the rest of the family was upstairs. Kitchen was perfectly equipped. We played outside, did some fishing, kayaking and paddleboarding. "Amazing house, very comfortable and great decor. Loved it, but two things opportunities for improvement: 1) No smart tv in house. Smart tv’s are so cheap, you could get one small one for $100 and guests could then have Netflix, Amazon prime, etc. otherwise you are stuck with just local digital channels. A Small improvement for such a big customer satifier. "

"We were in the area for a funeral so just needed a place to sleep and unwind. Definitely small but served our needs - the driveway is extremely steep. If you have anyone in your party with mobility issues I would not recommend this property. Beds are very firm - couch was more comfortable! All in all it worked fine and was lovely to be on the water."
