Gorgeous Fairplay mountain retreat, perfect for groups and families

Welcome to the mountains! Only 15 minutes to Main Street Fairplay, and 26 miles to Breckenridge, you will feel a world apart in the quiet serenity of our mountain retreat. Spend your days fishing, hiking, or skiing, and come home to grill on the wraparound deck overlooking Mount Sherman and listening to the sound of Sacramento Creek. We comfortably sleep 12 with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, and welcome families and groups.

The main level has a living room surrounded by a panorama of windows and a gas fireplace. Walk out to the wraparound deck with a propane grill, a dining table for 10, and adirondacks to enjoy a coffee in the morning or stargaze in the evening. Indoors we have a chef’s kitchen with cookware supplies for your group meal, and a dining nook that both kids and adults love. A small powder room by the entrance and a cozy bookshelf and reading chair complete the common area. Down the hall, the first bedroom has a king size bed and dedicated office desk if you need to get some work done, and our mesh network maximizes the wifi signal that averages between 25-40 mbps download speed. The en suite bathroom has a soaking tub, separate shower, and separate toilet room. There are shutters for privacy, but you won’t see anyone other than the occasional deer or moose when looking out onto our forest property.

Downstairs, there is a second living room, play room, laundry room, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The living room has a TV with streaming options, and comfy couches to relax into movie night. The play area has toys appropriate for babies to preschoolers, and plenty of floor cushions to set up forts. For the adults, take the puzzle table out of the laundry room and enjoy a game night. The washer/dryer and detergent are available for guest use to help reduce your packing load for those longer trips.

The second bedroom has a king size bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower. The third bedroom has two queen size beds. The hallway has a bathroom with a shower/tub combination and plenty of kids bath toys, plus a baby bath if you need it. The fourth bedroom has two sets of twin size bunk beds, at a much lower height than standard - only 4 feet off the ground to the top bunk. A pack ‘n play is available in the hall closet, along with an optional mattress for older babies and toddlers. All bedrooms have blackout curtains, humidifiers, and top quality foam or hybrid mattresses so you can sleep comfortably.
