"The place was very small and cut up. It was dirty and had ants all in the kitchen. Every room was in some form dirty including showers and toilets. Dangerous stairs to get upstairs and down. Found slugs in basement where two bedrooms were located. Water dripped out of the ceiling onto kitchen counter. Dirty inside cabinets, drawers etc. no where near worth the amount per night. Completely unacceptable. Reached out to owner and her response was that she cleaned it when she was there. Some areas...

"We had a wonderful stay. All previous reviews are accurate. The kitchen was fully stocked if you would like to plan for a big meal. The road up to the mountain was smooth and well maintained. The house is very private /isolated as the community only has a few homes built at this time. Communication for any questions was prompt. We highly recommend this property!"

Our only regret was not having more time just at the house to enjoy everything it had to offer. "Arrived during a winter storm and the owner worked with snow removal company to clear the driveway.. house was clean and had some of the best snowy mountain views I have ever seen.. waking up in the master bedroom to snow covered trees was just stunning.. hope to return soon (four wheel drive recommended in snow otherwise it’s fine) "

"Really liked the property. There were only 2 of us but it would have been more fun with a group. Great outdoor sitting space. It was cold and lots of extra blankets around. If you forgot something it was there for you. The only negative and it is a personal preference is there are other homes around. No one bothered us, we didn’t even see anyone. I felt perfectly safe, just a preference. The hosts were great. Called me to give me some tips to get there. Very appreciated."

"Such a charming and cozy property. I knew when we walked along the garden path and entered to be welcomed by the kitchen hummingbird poster it was the place for us. The historic home was gorgeous -the wood floors and comfy furniture plus modern comforts mark this unique property. I can’t say enough about the quality furnishings, art, and other design elements. The live plants are another nice touch-beautiful! The local reading materials were great and so informative- we were reminded to visit...

"My sheets were stained, there is no shower curtain, there is no remote, 1 pillow and it’s super thin. I asked for a refund for the second night and they refused. Very bad place to stay don’t believe the 8 rating it should be about a 3 and staff is very loud and stingy when even asking for a pillow. "
