"Caravan was comfortable and was OK for the couple of nights we stayed However some half used items of food had been left in the fridge and the furnishings were a little worn. Caravan and bed were creaky although this was mainly down to the high winds the weekend we were there."

"The most beautiful and most unique property to explore this part of the country. Margaret and Malcolm, as always, were so welcoming and provide top class accommodation with the most stunning views. Tiffy, our dog, was made most welcome with a lovely bed and treat bag. Such a safe and protected space for her. Will definitely be back for our third visit! "

"The apartment is well situated for walking to town center and the beach front. Car parking was available and more than adequate. Facilities in the apartment were comfortable and more than enough for 2 guests. The heating system needed some attention but I was quickly helped by Ian and we got things running again. We would suggest the inclusion of at least 1 toilet roll , we travelled from the Netherlands and preferred not to go directly to the supermarket. Other than that we had a great stay."

"We have just returned home from a very peaceful and relaxing couple of days at Cleeves Cabins. We stayed in the Arran Lodge which was very clean and comfortable. It had everything you needed for a wonderful stay including a wonderful hot tub on the decking. We spent many hours in the evening relaxing and watching the stars in the lovely warm hot tub. Robert our host and owner of the farm was very friendly and helped us out with knowledge of the area and suggesting some great places to visit. I...

"Beautiful spacious 2 bed flat. Everything you need for a home away from home. Close to amenities. Very easy to access on arrival. No need to meet someone to get keys. Would recommend. Only thing I would add is to request WiFi password. I couldn’t find it in the book that gives you the information of surrounding area or written down somewhere. Maybe I just couldn’t see it. "

"Enjoyed the weekend at Wauchope Cottage. Perfect location to explore the coast and Galloway forest area of SW Scotland. House is super clean and much more room than we expected. The grounds are gorgeous and we loved walking around. It would be nice if there was an opportunity to visit the castle to see the inside. This is a fairly remote property, so be prepared to drive to anything you need. But so quiet and peaceful."

"We were a group of 6 traveling Scotland and this last night in the country gave us a good honest feel of it, specifically the Glasgow part. I was impressed with the building and its history; we imagine its greatness in its day. My husband met the new manager and we are excited to return to see if she has done what she plans with it. "

"It is a really beautiful hotel with lovely bar/restaurant and great spa facilities and treatments. The rooms are the main let down - they are small and mostly in an extension off the back of the main building. Our two rooms overlooked a car park. One of the rooms had a very distinctive smell of smoke, only had one bath robe rather than two, and had a blocked sink which prevented it draining at all. I reported all of this to reception who brushed it off and didn’t take any action or offer any...
