The whimsical attic room, ideal for children, is a playful retreat with twin beds and its own TV. Please note, the ceilings are lower here, creating a snug hideaway that may be warmer during those peak summer days.

Summer Family Stay
This property was beautiful and well maintained. The owners were on the property for a few days of our stay and were so kind and welcoming. The pool was beautiful and well maintained. The gardens and yard were gorgeous. Such a great place to stay! 10/10 recommend! We hope to come back and stay again!

Wonderful summer vaca
We spend almost all of our time outside enjoying the wonderful pool, the hot tub, playing outdoor games or chillin in the cabana. All our dinners were poolside. Loved it.

Mouse droppings in every bed
Luxury getaways is almost as big a misnomer as calling this home more than a 1 bedroom. The worst part was pulling back the sheets to find mouse droppings in every bed. When notified we were checking out immediately Luxury getaways only offered a partial refund. The check in process involves way too many emails, contracts and additional unnecessarily complicating. communication making finding access information a pain…. The unit is so remote do not count on having any cell reception. The smell of manure from the farm across the street would have made pool time unbearable had the pool been open. The unit is not directly connected to pool or hot tub so robes would have been necessary

We will be staying again!
This home is close to where we visit family and has plenty of amenities to entertain our two kids. Clean, warm and homey. We will be back again to take advantage of the pool for the summer. We are grateful for the onsite management and their hospitality.

Incredible Escape!
We loved the beautiful gardens, pool, cabana & hot tub. The property owners were incredibly kind and helpful. The cottage had all of the amenities necessary - everything needed in the kitchen, plenty of pillows, bath & pool towels, USB chargers & power outlets.

Great place and good location. Good for kids, Mt. Baker
This is a great place. Cozy and cabin-like, but no shortage of amenities. The kids love all of the nooks to hide out and have personal space. The gas fireplace is great, and keeps it toasty during the winter. You are about 15 minutes from downtown Bellingham, and a little over an hour to Baker. This was our second stay here. We'd love to come back during summer to enjoy the pool and hot-tub!

Very cozy home away from home
This cottage is so cozy! Conveniently located yet in a quiet area. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals, but there are also restaurants nearby. Comfy beds, television, Wi-Fi round out the amenities. Really enjoyed our stay.

We came for the pool and loved it!
This spot was perfect for this Grandma to take her 3 grandchildren away from the city. The pool was fabulous, complete with pool toys and plush towels. The house was very comfortable, charmingly decorated, and we really appreciated the air conditioning due to summer hot weather.

Nice little home
This home was perfect for us. The pool is amazing. I’d happily stay here again and I live in Bellingham. This was a staycation while my nieces visited. I don’t understand the limit on guests being set at 4 - there are enough beds for 6 - but it worked done for us. There’s a resident eagle that lives in a tree next to the property, which we enjoyed. The pool toys and the grill were much appreciated.

A Fantastic Pool Getaway
This wonderful property was the perfect spot for a pool getaway. The house was very clean and filled with anything and everything you could possibly need. The garden was a beautiful spot for enjoying a morning cup of coffee. The pool and cabana were absolutely fantastic and came with plenty of loungers, chairs, and pool toys to ensure that everyone had the best time. Looking forward to coming back again!

The pool was great!
We chose this house because of its proximity to Seattle and the great pool next to the house. We came with our two boys, ages 7 and 10, and were not disappointed. They spent hours in the pool, which was perfect for them - though the shallow end is a little deep for littler kids. We took a daytrip to Mt. Baker which was beautiful and spent a morning in Bellingham. The house itself was well appointed with cooking equipment, basic spices and comfortable furniture. Would recommend.

Covid pool time
Needed to get away for awhile and get the kids back in a pool since it had been months since our YMCA closed. Location was close to grandparents house so worked great for us. Kids loved the upstairs with the little reading nook. The place worked perfect for quick get away and can’t wait to return next summer.

Great house with a good sized pool
We had a great time at this property and enjoyed our days in the pool and playing outside in the yard. The only issue we had was that the house is a bit close to the road and, at night, the lights from the cars would light up the front and attic bedrooms and could be a bit noisy (nothing a blackout shade couldn’t fix). The house was well furnished, well stocked with kitchen items, and overall a great place to getaway for the weekend.

Perfect getaway for hot days!
My husband and I took our 11 year daughter and dog here for a week vacation and it was an ideal place for all of us! We were lucky to get some good weather so we thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool on those days! The private pool was a big plus in these socially distanced times. Our dog loved doing zoomies and exploring the huge yard. We all enjoyed playing badminton and bocce ball, lounging by the pool or in the pool house. My daughter loved the cozy little den upstairs, though it did get very hot and she had to sleep downstairs some nights. The flower gardens are just beautiful. One thing to note is for people who like complete privacy that the owner's cottage is right there in the middle between the pool and the cottage, and shares a yard, but that said, she was headed out of town as we arrived and she was very kind and showed us around first! We hope to come back again next year!

Happy holiday!
This VRBO was a perfect landing spot for our family traveling over from E. wa. for the holiday. We were able to enjoy our extended family in the area and have a very cozy cottage to come back to. It was clean, well supplied and felt like home. The owner was very wonderful to communicate with. We definitely hope to stay there again in the future.
