Mountain View Cabin is set overlooking the banks of the Skykomish River with fantastic views of Mt. Index and Mt. Persis in the distance. This cozy cabin has a detached bedroom for another couple to enjoy ultimate privacy and the kids will love hanging out in the master bedroom's loft. The partially covered- and heated!- riverside deck allows you to enjoy your surroundings any time of year, and the sparkling hot tub is the ideal way to unwind after your day of Pacific Northwest exploration and adventure.

Great stay, beautiful view
My review is positive but with some notes. The cabin was as described and the view was even better in person. There was snow and the kids loved playing in it by the river. I will remember that moment forever too. The property management company made an effort to provide multiple ways to heat the cabin- the ceiling heater in the living room was nice. My kids loved the loft and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and we felt like we had what we needed. Our second night was a bit different because the power was off when we returned to the rental and stayed off until 2am. This seems to be a common issue in that area. We would consider this again if we stayed because it was hard to keep our 1.5 year old asleep. I did appreciate that the rental company kept us informed before we got there about the power and we were compensated for the night power was out. Another detail that would be important for other people driving in is that to get back to the cabin the road can be steep and icy. It might not be possible without 4 wheel drive. We would stay here again and will in the future.

Beautiful place with beautiful scenery
It was an amazing place in the forest. You can see see the mountains and it’s by a river. I will be back. Love it! One thing I would recommend is a plunger for the bathroom. The pipelines are slow. But it was still a 5 star experience. I mean breath taking.

Index
Great location,views, and especially nice to have direct river access during a few hot summer days. They had everything you might need for a few days in a cabin and communication was great. Few issues (dishwasher not working, hot tub very dirty) but the hosts were quick to fix them. Suggestions: smaller room could use hooks or something to hang items since there is minimal storage and the lower yard/ walkway to the river could use some cleanup.

Don't expect access to all areas pictured
I was a little surprised when I wasn't being charged by Vrbo, however it does say if you delve deep enough Vrbo has the right to share your info with third party companies. Most communications with the third party rental company were beyond pleasant. They where super responsive and informative. Until a portion of the area we rented had other occupants. Then they changed their tune to blame the owners. Regardless of who didn't communicate with who, us the renters, suffered. The rental company did give us a small refund, but died on the hill it wasn't their 'fault', rather than acknowledge the renters (us) didn't get the experience they were expecting.

Wonderful Location & Beautiful View
The location was great. It was in a very secure area. The mountain views were breathtaking. We wish the area by the river was a little bit more cleaned up and easier to sit down by the water more, but overall the place was fantastic.

Wonderful
Great communication and check in information from the host. The property is clean and comfortable and exactly as described with lots of little extras. We spent most of our time hiking in the area but enjoyed every minute we spent here. The views of the river and mountains were amazing. It rained pretty heavily during our stay and we really appreciated the covered parts of the back deck.

NYE Cabin
The property was an absolutely incredible place to stay for a nice NYE in with friends. There was significant snow the weekend of the trip, but the property managers were very good about providing information ahead of time for accessing the area and what was needed. We had some issues with wifi because of the storm, but again, the owners were very prompt at providing us information to fix it. The view is absolutely breathtaking the property is cozy and warm. The neighbors are a little closer than the photos on the listing initially made it seem, but from the hot tub, it was still quite private and you couldn't see directly into any properties from windows.

Cabin is tucked away from public access. Easy to access fishing from the property. Deck is large enough to spread out and relax. Hot tub is perfect!!!!

That View!!
This property is off the beaten path on a gravel road, you have to go through two security gates to get into this secluded community. Upon arrival, the views draw you in from the large windows, lots of natural light and a nicely stocked kitchen. The kitchen even had, coffee supplies, tea bags and a nice selection of spices! This home is close to hiking trails and be sure to stop for coffee at the espresso chalet! We hiked Bridal Veil Falls and Lake Serene...wow did we appreciate the cabins hot tub after that! We look forward to another stay at this lovely cabin.
