"Despite the cool rainy day, we had a cozy little cabin to celebrate our anniversary. The hot tub was a nice too. Great for a glamping experience. The house is really close but inside the cabin you would never know it."

"It was such a cozy, beautiful property. We loved the sauna- it was so clean. I wish we could have stayed longer! It would have been nice to have a picnic table, but in the grand scheme of things that's minor and we made it work. It was a wonderful couple days relaxing."

"This is a beautiful rustic new yurt (it's only been rented to the public for the last year or so and everything is so clean and wonderful and well stocked). It is very basic, but if you're looking at this listing, you probably know that. Stayed comfortable even though it was -26 outside at night and it's in the heart of wonderful birding country. Couldn't recommend it enough. A word of note… If you'd like to drink out of non-paper cups, or eat out of non-paper bowls, be sure to bring your own...

"We stayed at Iron Ridge for 2 nights in January. There were 4 couples and the home accommodated us well. One couple did need to sleep on single bunk beds. There were large spaces with comfortable seating and a large table to hang out. The property and access to the lake was wonderful. We walked on the lake to Giants ridge to watch a ski race. It's proximity to the ski area is perfect. Thanks for a fun weekend stay!"

"Great place to stay while cross country skiing at Giants Ridge. Easy walk across and down the road to hop on the trails. Away from the hubbub of the downhill area though that is easily accessible if you want it. "

"Very clean and quiet place to stay. Would definitely stay again. Hot tub was also clean and enjoyable. "

"The trip was amazing, largely because of the amazing home we stayed in. Everything was wonderful. There are multiple spaces for kids to spend time. There are activities for them to do, and large hang out spaces including a huge dinning room table! The house is clean, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are big, and the linens are fresh. The host is amazing! So helpful and kind! We can't wait for next year!!"

"Overall this is a good place to stay. Huge home with lots of space to spread out. A number of things were marked broken or unusable in the house but that did not affect our stay much. This would easily be a 5 star with a few updates and repairs. "

"The hosts were very accommodating ! The cottage was charming and comfortable. It was located close to shopping and our birdwatching destination. We hope to visit again!"

"We stayed here while we had a local youth hockey tournament this past weekend. Everything was perfect for the apartment we stayed in. Would rent again if up in the area."

"First is the excellent "Host" communication. Next is the size and amenities. It is furnished nicely with a well-equipped kitchen, a luxurious great room, an exceptionally comfortable bed and a whirlpool tub with a powerful shower. In addition, there is a full washer and dryer. Last, but not least, is the climate control which boasts of numerous vents allowing for a powerful even heat."

"Our stay was mostly positive. The owner was kind and quick to respond when we needed help finding the place and when we had questions about parking. Once inside it is cute, cozy, quiet, and quaint. Lots of seating and sleeping options.The table worked fine for us, but could be challenging if you want to have dinner with more than 4 people. The stairs were quite steep. Overall a good option for our hockey weeked:)"

"Spent a winter weekend with kids and grandkids, we loved the house. The large dining table was great for games and meals together. The bunk room was a huge hit, watched several movies on the big screen, played games, and all of the grandkids had their personal space. The four other bedrooms provided plenty of room for the adults. The only problem we had was getting in the driveway during a snowstorm as there is a hill and a curve to negotiate. "What a great spot! So so much space and it’s a view of the hill! Our family loves skiing and giants ridge is great. Also the pool and hot tub were perfect! "

"Perfect location for a weekend up north. The house was clean, comfortable, and cozy - we especially loved the fireplace. Great kitchen and beds. Easy communication and options to contact host if needed. Wonderful stay! "

"While the building is old and a bit out of date, we found everything clean and in working condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful, glad to answer questions and advise on road conditions. The breakfast was very nice. We even got a cookie on our way out in the morning! We enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again."
