There is a step down at front door you cannot see in the dark and another one inside at front door you won’t be ready for if not made aware of in advance. Other than that we loved the home , very spacious, beds were good. We would stay again. "

"For a family with a variety of ages this house was great. It was too cold, and the lake was too low, for swimming or boating. We had plenty of room to spread out, cooked plenty in the well stocked kitchen, relaxed, read a lot and played lots of games. The darts, ping pong and shuffleboard were popular. I would stay again. "

"We enjoyed our visit. Home is well equipped and was clean. Manager was very receptive. Has plenty of cooking equipment. Has a grill, but we didn't use it. The only issue, and it's not the owner's fault, but we brought our dogs, and the dogs across the road were running loose almost the whole time, so we had to keep our dogs on the deck whenever we were outside. Lots of loose dogs in the area made it difficult to walk the dogs as well. That said, I would recommend the property, just keep an eye...

"A group of friends celebrated several birthdays. While the weather didn’t cooperate, we were able to enjoy the beautiful property. It’s a gorgeous house, high end, lots of amenities. Absolutely loved our weekend there!!"

"We were looking for a place close to Dallas that would allow us to have a small place that would be kayak accessible. We found this location to be surprisingly quiet even though it has close neighbors and access to Cedar Creek Lake was easy right off the end of the property. We used our own kayaks although the host has boats available for guests. We also found a remarkable restaurant only miles from the cabin for a special anniversary dinner."

"We did 2 back to back weekends here. Both times the boys enjoyed the peace and quiet, and the private pond for fishing. The cabin had all the necessities we could ask for. The fans and the A/C made it comfortable. We had so much fun just experiencing nature that we plan to do this every year."

"We stayed at this home for 3 nights with our 7 grandchildren ages 1 1/2 to 13. They all had a wonderful time! There was so much for them to do. The water lily pad was a hit, as well as fishing from the grounds. We brought a remote control motorboat and used it in the canal. We made s’mores, used the hot tub, and did karaoke on the upper deck at night. The pantry is filled with games for all ages, including balls and paddles that the kids enjoyed along with the outdoor net for a kid-style...

"The owners greeted us personally and gave us a whole tour. Everything you could possibly need is right there! WiFi works great there. Our whole family loved all the amenities especially the pool and sand volleyball. We had no need to leave for entertainment. Our kids, including the teenagers did not complain about being bored. We will definitely come back."

"The house was attractive and had a great location. However, there were no sheets and pillow cases for the pull out bed, and we had to use a phone Hotspot to watch tv. One of the bedrooms was detached from the main house, so not suitable for kids. Otherwise, we loved it."

"House was nice and quiet. Everything was clean and comfortable. WiFi did not work well and cell phone reception was sparse. Table was sticky. But it was VERY nice and peaceful. Well decorated and comfortable. Hated to even mention the negatives, but I believe they can be easily remedied. "

"this is an economical stay. Bedsheets are clean and bed was comfortable. That's all I needed. I noticed quite a few dogs so it is very dog friendly. we stayed overnight. Somethings show wear and tear at the hotel but overall the price is right for just using the bed and the shower. coffee is terrible and breakfast is continental. we would stay again next time I need to pass through.
