"We really liked the property. Clean bed linens and towels were appreciated. Some updated living room furniture would be nice, more seating, perhaps? Also, a bedside lamp or two instead of the very bright overhead fan lighting. Was grateful for the iron and board. Porch tables were very precarious. Maybe a game or two, uno or Yahtzee. But overall, we were happy with the accommodations. "

"Nice quiet, cozy place. Neighborhood felt safe. I liked that you could see the woods in the backyard. The only input I would give is that I found hair on the bed and hair on the extra blanket provided on the bed (yuck). There was also some crusty food on some of the utensils and dishes. Other than that, nice place."

"The house was clean, nicely decorated and CONVENIENT to where we needed to be (Winthrop University and the Oratory). We were only there to sleep and eat breakfast. It was very nice with no real problems. It was a quiet neighborhood (no dogs barking through the night as a few reviews stated). You could hear the early morning train (thus the house's name) but it was in the distance and I found it comforting not annoying. I don't think it would even wake an infant. Maybe next time we will have time...

"The home was exactly as listed. There are televisions in each bedroom and the living room as well. There was sufficient space for my entire group to gather for a meal or a board game. The home is older and is in need of basic repairs and ongoing maintenance, so be prepared for a well loved, pet friendly home. It is clear the upkeep is scheduled and the owners do a good job of staying on top of things. We would stay here again gladly."

"The property is located close to downtown Rock Hill. Not the nicest part but not the worst. Houses in neighborhood easily build in the 1940s. Luther did a good of refurbishing the house to make the inside comfortable and functional. We were visiting for a sports tournament and home was conveniently locate to the multiple venues and within 5-10 minutes to restaurants and stores. Luther was great host and very responsive in answering any questions and addressing concerns."
