Wonderful location and views with a short walk to the beach.

Enjoy the spacious living/dining area with expansive views in all directions of the coastline, mountains, harbor, fishing fleet, lighthouse and ocean. Enjoy the views from each of the large bedrooms through the big bedroom windows. The master bedroom has its own bathroom. There is a deck for your enjoyment outside the livingroom from which your can hear the searly lions in the harbor. The backyard is fenced and is very private and quiet, and you can use the gas grill to barbecue. There is an attached garage for your convenience. There is also lots of additional paved parking for additional cars, a boat, or RV. There is a washer and dryer for your use. There is a 65 inches TV with Netflix and DVD. There is wifi provided. All kitchen dishes and bedroom/bathroom linens are provided. The vacation home is upstairs on the 2nd floor. outside the house is the bike path/ California coastal trail which you can walk to the beach, harbor, sea lions, and fishing fleet in a few minutes. Restaurants, groceries, liquor stores, the library, lighthouse, fishing pier, and the oceanfront city park with playground and disc golf course are all a short walk away. Within a few miles drive is coastal hiking and hiking in the Redwood National and State Parks, golfing, surfing, shopping, and the beautiful Smith River National Recreation Area.
The flooring in the livingroom and dining is recently updated.

Fantastic view of the bay and lots of room
This was a great. Place for a three generation family stay. We all had room and comfort. The rental is on the second floor but even grandparents made it up and down nicely. The views are wonderful of the bay and the ocean on the horizon. The short walk to the beach and a bit longer trek to the light house were enjoyed by all. It was so quiet except for the barking of the sea lions and the fog horn (which are heard everywhere in Crescent City)! It had a homey feel and coziness. The kitchen is well stocked and made mealtimes easy. The little ones really enjoyed the garden area and kept looking for fish in the ponds. The bathrooms were nice. It is on the coast so we expected stained grouting, etc. But was clean and maintained. Everyone from the 5 year old to 82 year old really enjoyed our stay.

Nice view in an isolated area
We enjoyed our stay. Missed the turn onto the one way street the first time ( thought it was the entrance to the RV park). Not really much around the house ( not in a residential area). View was nice. Fridge had a bit of a fishy odor, otherwise, house was clean. Our family of 5 was very comfortable in the space.

The house smelled of pet urine. The carpet in the bedroom was sticky on my side of the bed. Counters weren’t clean. Bedding was nice and clean, towels were clean. Bathroom smelled of pet urine

Great house with great views!
We stayed at Kelly and Brian’s for a family gathering with our kids and we all loved the house. It has wonderful views and we watched the boats and lighthouse. We had everything we needed from a very well stocked kitchen to comfortable beds and easy access to the redwoods and the beach!

Great location and views
Living area and kitchen space were great. We loved the property location - close to beaches, parks, shopping, etc. The bedrooms/bathrooms could use updating. The bedroom with the double beds does have an "old" smell to it and the beds were very uncomfortable- the beds in the other bedrooms were great though. There is a strong odor in the entry way stairs, but you don't smell it once you are upstairs in the living area. We noticed a few sugar ants in the kitchen, but it looks like the owners are working on it. Overall - we did enjoy our stay.

Clean but strange
My family of 6 was in town to see the redwoods and stayed at this property for two nights. The layout and bed situation worked great. The view or the harbor and lighthouse was great, as advertised. The property seemed clean with a lack of dirt or scuff marks that usually accompany short-term rental. The décor was strange in a outdated, but well-cared=for sort of way. There were strange smells that were covered up by air fresheners with strong scents. There were ant traps around, and the ants came out when we didn't fully clear out the sink on the first night. Google maps took us to a sketchy house next door, which gave us a real scare until we noticed this property. It is upstairs from another household with its own private stairs, which, made us worry that we were making too much noise when our little boys resorted to games of chase and when we practiced violins and cellos. (We are a family of musicians and carry our instruments with us on vacations.)

quiet and secluded with great view
4 seniors gathered here and had a very nice time. though hard to locate the first time, it is in a great location with high up views of the harbor and the bay. The house was comfy and the kitchen just right. We had everything we needed. But there are a few safety issues...the shower in the master bath is very slippery with nothing to hang on to nor slip strips and the shower curtain in the other bath was not attached to the wall or shower. The sink in the 2nd bath is very wonky and hard to turn off properly. But we worked around these and had a good time. Love that it is away from traffic.

Great visit!
We had a short stay in Crescent City and this house was in the perfect location. It was clean, easy to access and has a beautiful view of the harbor. I enjoyed drinking my coffee and watching the boats leave the harbor in the morning. Within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the aquarium. Highly recommended!

Great centralized location with amazing views!
Beautiful views of the bay and lighthouse from the many large windows and deck! Centralized location was great! Short walk over to the boat dock, sea lion colony, northern end of crescent beach, and to the redwoods parks information center, and a very short drive (5-10 minutes) to lighthouse, Crescent beach, Pebble beach, St George point, Enderts beach, Jedediah State Park, and restaurants and grocery stores! House was very clean and comfortable. Hosts were very responsive. I definitely recommend it!

Poorly identified
It was presented as on the beach which it was not. It was set back from the harbor. We could not hear the ocean from so far back. The yard was not kept as shown in the online pictures & the fence is falling down. The coffee maker was old & did not work properly. I had text the owner to ask how to get to the beach and never received a response. It would’ve been fine as just a house to stay in but we were expecting ocean access which it did not have. Would not stay there again
